I’m not planning to practice anytime soon, but I did used to dabble in it. I think this changed how I now worship.

I’ll often get things posted by witches on my fyp that ill usually just take note of in a way that helps me in my own religion

Witchcraft is against the Bible, clearly, but idk what fully counts as witchcraft.

As you’ll see in an old post, I celebrated the pink moon in a Christian way, which isn’t exclusive to paganism ofc, but is more common in it than any other religions I see online.

ANYWAYS! I’m taking this opportunity to be educated by fellow Christians AND any other religious groups!

Here’s some things I don’t know if they count as exclusively witchcraft or not:

moon/sunwater, manifesting, owning crystals, talking to nature

I have more but I can’t think of them rn

Also, if anyone can, is it possible for you to explain why things like glamour magic are bad?

however SOME individuals are very rude to religious people and assume they’re all privileged + never struggle

I know many religious people (as well as myself) who have had to overcome so many things in life, and sometimes the reason we’re so faithful to God is because he was all we had in our worst moments

I want a cross somewhere in every room (however, I’ll leave the guest room without it because I don’t want my non-Christian friends to be uncomfortable)

A prayer garden. I REALLY want a prayer garden. They’re so beautiful and I love nature.

A prayer room. Just a small room that I can go in when I don’t wanna go outside and need peace.

An altar. This will likely be in the prayer room.

Every bedroom will have a Bible in the bedside drawer. Even the guest rooms, but I’ll take them out temporarily if I know my guests wouldn’t like it.

I want flowers everywhere because they remind me of God.

I want Holy Water in at least a few places of my house.

Forgiveness:

I’m someone who holds grudges super easily, and recently had a ton of stuff happen with some friends. After praying on it, I realized I needed to forgive everyone, and then God would help me move on, so I did just that. I said “God, even if they haven’t apologized, I forgive (name) and (name) because I know you would want me to. Please help me move on and lead with love.”

After that, I was no longer bitter and started wishing those people a good life.

Peace:

I’ve had super bad anxiety for my whole life to the point that I’ve canceled trips and held myself back from so many things to try and manage it. I started begging God for help. At first, it only worked well enough to make me feel like I wouldn’t have a meltdown. After growing my connection with God, however, I started not feeling any at all!

Love:

I have a problem of loving to gossip and hate on people. Not everyone, but some people are just mean and I feel the need to talk about them. I still struggle with this a bit, but I’ve gotten much better about it. Even just on online sites, I’ve stopped hating on people because I know God wouldn’t like it, and I feel so much better about myself and less judgmental. I’m choosing love over hate.

so basically I was having some anxiety and couldn’t sleep so I said my nightly prayers, then suddenly felt the need to hold my hand out

I wrapped my hand like I was holding someone else’s, and it honestly felt like I was

I then asked God to hold my hand ‘till I fell asleep

I started getting tired and around the second or third time I nodded off my arm fell down and I knew he was telling me it’s bed time

afterwards I was kinda out of it and said something like “Thanks Dad” or “Goodnight Dad” or smth

not just the people, but for the actual planet

I want a world that I can actually raise children in, even if I’m not sure if I’ll have them

I want a world my little brother that was born yesterday can play outside in

a way to think of our job as Christians is that we are like primer, prepping the world for Jesus’ return

and God is the pretty makeup obviously

is there anything I should know/tips?
