Felice and Wilhelm kissing scene was painful to watch but mainly confusing because itβs a damn copy-paste of Wilhelm and Simonβs love scene in season 1. Itβs almost the same moves and looks and rhythm and it happens on the opposite bed of Wilhelmβs room just like if it was literally a mirror image.Β
And that make sense, the intention was for Wilhelm to try to feel something similar but that moment was beautiful because it was with Simon and in no way he could recreate it with someone else, not even a person he deeply care for like Felice.Β
I actually like this scene, itβs smart and realistic. Heβs vulnerable and sad and with someone he is safe with, them kissing make sense. Itβs dumb but itβs very teenager-in-pain life.Β
What i love the most is Wilhelm face when Henry interrupts them. Itβs shame and sadness. He knows it was a bad call and he would have wanted to erase it. But now people will know and it wonβt be possible. And he certainly does not want Simon to know. Not because itβs himΒ βcheatingβ in a way but because what happened is not what it seems. Itβs not him trying to move on, i feel that itβs him trying to relive past moments with Simon and maybe seeking some confort.
Anyway they did handle this part very well in my opinion. They address the situation very quickly afterwards, Wilhelm apologizes and Felice calls him out on his behavior. Itβs honest and good communication and they move on.Β
And the following scene in the dining room where he is asked on the table and him refusing to talk about it and begging for privacy is gold.Β
