I recently started The Magnus Archives. Or started again I should rather say, because I listened to a couple of episodes some time ago. I'm on episode 18 and it's nice so far but I do have a little problem with it though. If I understand it correctly - the episodes are supposed to be statements from different people and yet all of them form their thoughts almost the same way. It's all written very similarly, too similarly for my suspension of disbelief. Don't get me wrong, the stories are interesting and all but even when there is a different actor reading the text (not the regular dude) - it all sounds the same to me. The rhythm of the text is almost always the same, it is too obvious for me personally.
I know that there are a bunch of episodes so it may develop as the series goes further, I also know there are meta-plots and stuff so there obviously is something more there. But yeah, I'd love some more diverse ways of writing in this thing.
