Wait I just remembered I can share my art here. Hereās a celebratory doodle I did for wtdsik season four ^_^
Our love trio is finally back!!!! ( ā„ į“ ā„)
how mairuma explores disability in the scala exam arc
though characters with disabilities have been shown throughout the series, i want to talk about how this arc in particular contains social commentary regarding disability, with some topics relating to interdependence, the social model of disability, and the human variability model
to preface this, the social model asserts that people with disabilities are disabled as a result of societal barriers, not because they are "broken." in other words, society is what disables people. also, the human variability model challenges the societal assumptions of what is "normal" when it comes to our bodies, embracing human diversity in our abilities, health, limits, and strengths. in doing so, it points out that our categorizations of the human body are completely artificial and are not inherent aspects about us
when it comes to nova, we are explicitly told that he is hard of hearing. despite this, he actually has average hearing relative to the rest of the netherworld but is considered "nearly deaf" by the many-ears. essentially, this is implying that disability is a social construct because these are not objective attributes about him but rather how he is perceived by his own community, labeling him as a deviation from what they consider "normal"
consequently, this has led to his isolation both socially and in his upbringing, which he even talks about with iruma when he refers to how black-ears like him are treated as something akin to a "tumor"
intertwined with ableism is this toxic relationship with independence (a myth) that pushes people with disabilities to an extreme in order for those individuals to be "self-sufficient" alongside their non-disabled peers. in nova's case, he was trained rigorously against in his own will so that his abilities would be on par with the exceptional talent that the many-ears community seeks even though it harmed him and nothing good came out of it. other instances of ableism include speaking over people with disabilities rather than listening to them in addition to infantilizing them. this also applies to nova since he recognizes that besides his training, they are overprotective of him in particular and project their own ideas of his thoughts and motivations
this does not exist in a vacuum due to the intersection between ableism and classism. when looking at the bigger picture, what ultimately disables nova is the hierarchy of the netherworld, which only values those who are powerful in physical and magical combat and oppresses marginalized communities like the many-ears. out of fear, he and his people are pressured into relying on their hearing for survival/safety, and this is purposeful exploitation from the higher-ranking demons. beyond his clan's class position, where they are deprived from basic necessities such as an education and access to learning magic, nova is further devalued by the system because he cannot use his hearing to provide any sort of economic value to the netherworld
despite all of this, there is a silver lining to their reality, and it is their strength as a community. this manifests through the cultivation of the many-ears carrot, pushed for by nova's efforts as he practices his magic. moving towards a new beginning for the many-ears' interdependence, the carrot symbolizes their resistance, which still survives even when the demon border patrol literally attempts to destroy their work
rather than conform to their oppressors and train themselves individually to meet that standard, they come together to take advantage of their collective potential and work towards a future where they will not be exploited by higher-ranking demons. this newfound interdependence also means giving a chance for black-ears like nova to be included in these efforts and give back to the community
skip and loafer episode 12
Skip and Loafer is one of my favorite mangas. It's a beautiful story about high schoolers growing up and their relationships with one another. I had been wanting to reread the manga for a while, but I realized I had never actually watched the anime! So, I finally decided to watch it, and I was blown away.
Episode 12 was a perfect season finale, and the entire season blew me away. From the beginning, we watched as Mitsumi adjusted to life in the city by making new friends and joining the student council.
One of her best friendships is with Shima Sousuke, a popular, handsome boy. What I love about episode 12 is that we see Shima's character arc hit its climax. Throughout the show, he is a laid-back guy. However, his internal conflict has to do with his constant need to perform for validation.
While Mitsumi is sure of her future, Shima doesn't have a clue what he wants to do because he has always done what others have asked of him. Of all the people in his life, Mitsumi is one of the few who knows about Shima's child-acting phase. She's pretty perceptive when it comes to Shima. Even when many others can't tell Shima is having a difficult time, she can see through his facade.
This scene may look silly initially, but it's Mitsumi's attempt at protecting Shima.
Ririka, Shima's childhood actress friend, went through a rough patch that she blames on Shima. Since Shima believes he is at fault, he is always at her beck and call despite feeling uncomfortable. At this point in the episode, Mitsumi realizes Ririka purposefully sent Shima's mom away. Despite Mitsumi having some moments where she can't read a room, in this instance, Mitsumi knows that ririka means trouble.
The only way Mitsumi can think of warding off Ririka is to strike a pose similar to that of an anteater. It's silly, but it's a testament to Mitsumi's character. She isn't afraid to look weird if it means she can help someone. Throughout the season, Mitsumi was always making little messes, such as throwing up during the assembly and getting called the "big boss" of the school. Despite these awkward moments, Mitsumi doesn't let this get her down; she gets back up and keeps moving forward.
Shima is aware of Mitsumi's resilience. Unlike himself, Mitsumi isn't afraid of messing up. Shima finds himself drawn to her. Out of all the people he's met, Mitsumi is the one that he finds himself reaching out to.
During the season finale, Shima has a monologue that is one of my favorite moments in the entire manga. It's a testament to his character and the foundation of his future development.
Shima's constant need to perform has forced him to believe his OWN ideas and feelings don't matter
Since childhood, he has thought acting would be a way to make his mother happy. Although he hasn't worked since childhood, he has held onto that mentality his whole life. If he gives people what they want, they'll be happy, even if it costs Shima happiness.
Shima is tough on himself despite his "laidback" appearance. He believes his words and actions have no meaning and that he has no purpose if he isn't "performing" for someone else. He even calls Mitsumi and Kanechika "dazzling" and says that they're so far away from him. He doesn't see himself as someone who can fearlessly do what they want.
Although Shima clearly admires Mitsumi, it isn't until his big performance that he realizes what many of his feelings boil down to.
"I know this feeling. It's envy."
During his performance, he engages in an inner dialogue that circles around the idea that Shima doesn't know himself. Did he want his mom there to watch him perform? Does he want to keep acting? Was he glad she didn't stay? Is his lack of confidence the reason he is uncomfortable around girls? "Does it mean I can act if it's for myself?"
At the end of the day, Shima does not know who he is or what he wants. Unlike Mitsumi and Kanechika, who go 100% into everything they do and are genuinely happy about their choices, Shima has no clue what he finds joy in.
"You'll never be one of them."
It's a simple quote, but this is what leads Shima to understand his jealousy. He has separated himself from those he finds resilient, and despite believing he has to put on an act to make others happy, Shima is envious of those who can live freely.
Yes, this way of living may have been "easy" for Shima and may have even made many people happy, but it doesn't work anymore. After meeting someone like Mitsumi, he sees someone who isn't afraid to "get her hands dirty." Even Kanechika, who has succeeded with his plays, wouldn't have been able to get to this point without doing a few awful projects.
To find success, you need to be willing to make a mess and fall a few times. Although finding success is significant and unique, the most important thing is finding what you love and doing all you can to achieve your dream. This is why Mitsumi and Kanechika are so resilient. They understand there will be troubles along the way, but no problem is too big if it means they can accomplish their goals.
Shima takes a step forward to a new way of living by being vulnerable with Ririka.
Shima feels guilty about what happened with Ririka from the beginning, but we see him gather the courage to finally form a boundary. He isn't completely cutting himself off because he genuinely cares about her, but he tells her he can't keep following her down this destructive path.
I can not stress enough how important this moment is. He had spent so long doing what people expected of him because he believed it was the right choice. He was a people pleaser to a fault, but now he wants more for himself.
"I enjoy this school."
This is one of the rare moments when Shima is honest about his feelings, especially when he loves something. He loves his school, he loves acting, and he loves his friends, and he isnāt going to keep being the same person who was once passive about everything.
This scene is just so impactful. Following his inner monologue, where he talks about doing what others want and being jealous, now he can unapologetically say what he feels. This entire sequence is just so perfect.
I may be incredibly biased since Shima is one of my favorite characters, but this episode was one of the best-written episodes I have seen. It was a perfect way to end the season, with Shima finally stepping forward to become his own person.
Of course, he'll have moments when he's clumsy, but the important thing is that Shima is ensuring that he has a chance to find himself.
Towards the end of the episode, we get a cute moment between Shima and Mitsumi, which leaves her thinking, "But today, he seems almost like...a kid?"
I just love these last few moments of the episode. The little interaction between Shima and Mitsumi was too cute and such a nice touch to the season finale.
What I love the most about this scene is that Mitsumi notices that Shima has a more childlike air. It's almost like all that weight that was piling up throughout the season is finally gone, leaving Shima with the chance to spend his high school days comfortably.
All in all, this episode was the perfect season finale! The writing, the voice acting, the animationāeverything was just so well done. It truly brought the story to life.
--------------------------------------------------------------
There aren't enough words to describe how much I loved this episode, but I hope this post at least gave insight into why I love this series so much. Shima's growth is one of the best parts of this series, and this episode begins a new chapter in his life.
I love Shima and Mitsumi so much. Skip and Loafer is one of the best pieces of media I have ever read, and it will always have a strong impact on my life.
in honor of zeno's birthday, i wanted to make a little post about him
something that really resonates with me about zeno especially in chapter 104 is that even when he knew kaya's end was inevitably near, and even when he knew that this relationship with her would bring him so much pain after her passing, he didn't choose to run away from it
despite seeing her in this condition, one where her illness left her with little time to live and no hope for recovery, he didn't abandon her and leave her to suffer alone. in fact, he embraced his love for her and her love for him, which may have been the first time he's done that since the first dragons died
while i do think and i am aware that he may have yearned for some sort of connection after being lonely for god knows how long and that he may have been in denial at least for some of his time with her, i feel like we can see that as he holds her hand when she passes away that at some point he *did* accept the reality of her death, yet he still stayed and made sure she didn't die alone
it's different from the last time he dealt with significant loss in his life where he was too scared to see the dragons growing old, thus avoiding them ever since they went their separate ways and letting his fear get the best of him
this is my own personal headcanon but maybe it was not just for his sake but for her's too. perhaps he wanted her to have some sort of happiness and companionship in the little time she had leftāto be able to make memories with someone else and to be able to experience love till the very end
Everything about this post both warms and pains me at the same time. The parallel between Kaya's death and the four og dragons and Zenoās way of grieving has always hit me so hard. His regrets influence the way he grieves, and in a way, Kaya is the last person Zeno allows himself to really, truly love wholeheartedly, no strings attached. Sheās the last person he calls by name. He loves her, but instead of fearing change and running from it, he faces it head on for her sake, and maybe just a little for himself as well.
Their love is tragic and pure and heartbreaking and they deserve a happy ending. If we don't see them reunite I'm going to be so upset.
exactly, he truly is such a beautiful character and i hope by the end we get to see kaya (or even better: zeno and kaya together) at least once and that zeno gets the happy ending he has deserved for far too long

oikawa tooru: facing a world of geniuses Ā
i always wanted to write my thoughts about oikawa and i thought it would be perfect to do it in time for his 30th birthday!!!! he's one of my favorite characters ever and is exceptionally well-written. the main idea behind this post is that despite oikawa being skilled, he had to face the realization that there are players who are leagues above him. however, even when oikawa felt lost, he never gave up on his dreams. oikawa tooru was a player in a world full of geniuses and made it to the top of the world despite the challenges.
of course, we have to start with oikawa's ICONIC introduction! "the Great King". before we get into his story, we know he's an incredible player and kageyama's senpai. from the beginning, oikawa is a threat. he is introduced with his fangirls screaming, seeming "superficial," and very confident in himself. compared to the other characters we've seen in haikyuu, at this point, there was no one like him. it was obvious he was a fantastic player. however, we don't see his skills until the game between karasuno and aoba johsai.
it's such a simple phrase, but before every game, without fail, oikawa tells his team that he has faith in them, and in return, his team believes in him. unlike the setters we've met, oikawa is truly one of his own. he is known for his amazing skill and leadership and has been respected and praised; it's apparent that oikawa is leagues above many others. he is also able to bring out the best in his players. with oikawa as your setter, you have someone who will understand your strengths and weaknesses and give you the tosses you need to succeed. however, skill alone isn't enough for oikawa.
"it becomes clear that oikawa, while skilled, is not a natural"
despite being an amazing setter who has the ability to bring out 100% in every teammate, knows the ins and outs of his team, and is incredibly skilled, oikawa is not a genius. compared to ushijima and kageyama, oikawa is not a natural-born prodigy. this is when we are introduced to oikawa's inner conflict. no matter how great he is, the amount of time he spends dedicating himself to his craft, the long nights practicing by himself won't be able to make up for what a "genius" has to offer.
in middle school, oikawa's frustration hit an all-time high. after seeing the difference in skill between himself and ushijima, he is now on the same team as a young kageyama. he sees the difference in skill at every practice, watching kageyama learn a new skill in one day that took oikawa ages. it's clear that oikawa, who was praised for being incredibly skilled, is now face to face with a whole new world far from his reach.
oikawa finally snaps in this scene with young kageyama. all the thoughts and insecurities he has had to deal with, the unbearable fact that there may always be a gap between him and a select few, has been weighing on him for so long.
imagine you are praised for being so skilled, and here comes someone new who is not only catching up to you but has the potential to exceed you?
i think what makes oikawa so interesting is how relatable he can be to many people, including myself. there were times when i was praised for being talented, for getting great grades, and for doing something good, and then someone new came along who did everything I could do but even better. every person faces the frustration of seeing someone grow at a faster rate than you are. it doesn't necessarily come from a malicious place, but the thought of someone taking your spot and performing better than you ever could is painful to accept.
however, iwaizumi reminds oikawa that it isn't just him on the team. there are always six players on that court. oikawa uses this lesson to push forward, deciding that no matter what it takes, he will take his team to the finals.
although oikawa has moments where his insecurities run wild, he is one of the best players in haikyuu. from his killer serves, his incredible fast-paced thinking, his technique, and his ability to bring the best out of every single player. he can do it all.
however, all of this isn't enough against the second game between karasuno.
this conversation oikawa has with his idol, jose blanco, is not only fundamental to oikawa as a character but also a real-life lesson for many of us.
the reason why this conversation is shown at this moment is because kageyama makes a toss that causes karasuno to have their set and game point. while the members of aoba johsai wish they had some of kageyama's skill or some of his "guts," oikawa goes back to what jose blanco tells him.
you can wish you had someone's skill, talent, and smarts, but that idea will only be detrimental to your growth. while oikawa has always made it clear he detests geniuses, not once has he stopped and given up. he continues down this challenging path with his goal in sight with no intentions of ever walking away from volleyball.
accepting that there is more for you to do and that you haven't done everything you can to grow may be difficult for many, but once you make peace with that fact, there is a world of opportunity.
after this flashback, oikawa comes to the conclusion that everyone could have their talent bloom whether it be tomorrow, the day after, or when you're 30, but it won't ever happen if you don't believe in yourself. if you let yourself stay stuck in the idea that "so and so is better than me, i can't do it," you will never fully unlock your potential.
ātalent is something you make bloom, instinct is something you polishāĀ
there are many interpretations of this line, but i believe it means that talent will only show if you're willing to allow yourself to grow. the instincts that make you a better player will only happen through your sheer will and dedication.
oikawa has given so much of his time, energy, blood, sweat, and tears to volleyball in hopes of someday going to nationals. unfortunately, his goal never did come true, but this would only be the start of his amazing journey.
"nothing is over yet. not my volleyball career...or my "petty pride." never forget that."
it's one of the most memorable lines of the manga and one of my favorites. ushijima believes oikawa would have succeeded if he never went to aoba johsai, that because of his pride, oikawa never set foot at nationals.
however, none of that is true. oikawa made all the decisions because he believed they were best. he stayed at aoba johsai because he believed in his team. of course, there were many opportunities someone as skilled as oikawa could have taken, but he didn't, and he's more than okay with that
he isn't going to let anyone tell him that the choices he made were wrong. he won't let the realization of never making it to nationals tear him down. not only is oikawa a remarkable player physically, but his mental strength is something else entirely.
although pride is sometimes seen as something negative, oikawa's pride in himself drives him forward. his belief in his team, his dreams, and his own future or what makes him who he is. he isn't someone who will let others' thoughts and feelings sway him. oikawa will do what he believes is best for himself, and if that path is not the one to nationals, he can accept that.
oikawa will never give up on his dream no matter how many obstacles stand in his way. It doesn't matter if it's a team full of geniuses, a difficult teammate to work with, or his own insecurities; oikawa will never give up until he makes his mark on the world.
oikawa tooru in brazil has to be one of my favorite moments in the entire manga.
after not seeing him for so long, we finally see oikawa thriving in brazil with his teammates. now, he is playing for the argentina league as their setter, and all of his efforts to become a pro proved to be worth it.
seeing oikawa in the timeskip full of confidence and succeeding in his career made me so emotional. I relate to him in many ways, and to see someone succeed in such a remarkable way despite the challenges is extremely motivating.
oikawa moved across the world, leaving his friends and family behind in hopes of making his dreams come true. it was more than difficult, having to power through every obstacle with sheer willpower and skill. even though oikawa went through so many hardships, he loved the sport.
volleyball is something oikawa has loved since he was young. spending hours watching his idols play, learning how to play himself, and falling in love with being a setter. volleyball is everything to oikawa.
i think what makes oikawa's journey so impactful is that we see someone who presents himself to be full of confidence have his own insecurities and struggles, but he never let any of that stop him from giving up on volleyball.
seeing him in brazil, happy and thriving makes me so happy. the flashback to him as a kid, smiling and full of amazement, and then cutting back to him as an adult makes me so emotional.
oikawa's last words to hinata in brazil are a testament to his character.
what i love about this panel is that oikawa is telling us that he will beat everyone. he reminds us that we haven't seen the last of him yet.
oikawa tooru has been working for so long with the desire to beat every and anyone. he could have let himself stay with the same ideology he had in middle school, where he would never be able to be equal to a genius, and let that thought destroy him. but oikawa never gave up. he worked hard every day, honing his skills and growing as an individual to have this moment.
it is unbelievable that Oikawa, who was always full of immense talent and determination, is now at an entirely different level.
oikawa tooru may not be a genius, but he made his way to the olympics despite that.
this is the perfect ending for a character like oikawa. someone who, from the beginning, had a strong desire to defeat everyone and now steps onto the court where the world can see him at his best.
although it's never specifically stated who wins, i will always believe that oikawa tooru, took the world by storm and won the olympic gold. the man who wasn't a genius made it to the top of the game.
it makes me so happy to see him work so hard and have it all payoff. not only is the journey to becoming a professional player difficult, but as someone who had a hard time accepting his limitations, oikawa made his way to the world stage.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
reading and watching his journey is such a beautiful experience. oikawa is such a fantastic character who's so authentic and entertaining. he'll always be a character i can relate to and see as motivation.
i hope this was a fun/interesting read!! i always wanted to write something about oikawa so this was very fun for me to do. he's a character i will always love, and i hope this post showed how great of a character he is!
what is one series you wish you could rewatch for the first time?
HEY ANDY thank you for the ask !! hmm i'll definitely go with mairuma because it genuinely brought me such joy and i laughed so much with every episode, which helped me get through a rough time in my life š«¶š¼ also even if it covers only the first part of the series, i loved watching iruma start to grow into the person he is now and seeing such wonderful characters in action <3
kita shinsuke: the modern-day philosopher
one of my favorite things about haikyuu is how realistic the story is and how the messages can be applied to everyone. kita was one of the characters i felt impacted by. of course, many of the characters before kita's introduction impacted me, but kita's philosophy deeply affected me.
kita is a character who played the sport diligently but wasn't in it for the glory. although he was raised by his grandma's words, "someone's always watching," he isn't concerned about being praised by others. being able to do stuff the right way is enough for him. before kita, we've been introduced to many characters who are willing to do anything to win and continue playing volleyball in the future. kita isn't concerned about any of that. playing to the best of his abilities and doing it correctly is more than enough.
the importance of daily maintenance is something i will always think of when i see kita. he takes care of his body, cleans up, respects his traditions, and practices volleyball daily. it's a routine he follows every day without fail. to many, this seems tedious. doing the same thing everyday without a break? without fail? without anything to gain from it? most people wouldn't bother to use as much time and effort as kita does for no desired result. i'm one of the many that find it hard to keep up a routine, especially if it requires so much consistency and effort. but kita does it without complaint, without fail, and finds genuine joy in it.
but even though kita didn't care about people's approval, the moment he was offered the captain's jersey brought him to tears. whether he cared or not, his efforts to improve himself did not go unnoticed. all that time he spent cleaning, taking care of his body, honoring tradition, and practicing volleyball led to this moment. but kita never had a goal in mind. being chosen as captain is a high achievement, but kita didn't join the team to eventually have this honor. he did what he believed was the best thing to do, and being chosen as captain was simply the result of his effort.
this panel changed everything for me. i even used this as my college graduation quote because i have such a heavy attachment to this scene.
kita didn't do all his daily practices to gain anything. he did them because it felt right, doing his best no matter what was more important to him.
i have a habit of always determining my worth based on the results. if i don't get a good enough grade, i see my effort as useless; if i'm not praised for something, then i feel i'm not doing my best; if all my efforts don't give me the results i want, i see my time spent as wasted but reading this scene changed everything for me.
the time you spend bettering yourself is more valuable than a result. after all, the only reason you get a good result in the first place is because of your time and dedication to your work. even though kita was emotional about his hard work being seen and rewarded, his goal wasn't to become captain. at the end of the day, he spent all this time doing things for himself.
the little things I do every day might not be valuable in the grand scheme of things; the time I spend dedicating myself to anything makes me who I am. the small, everyday things make us who we are. we care for our bodies, study or work, unwind, and prepare meals for ourselves. It doesn't lead to anything extraordinary, but it does matter. it matters because it's who we are. every little thing we do is a part of us, and the good or bad things that come with it are simply the results of what we decide to do.
kita's philosophy of doing things right because it's the right thing to do is simple, yet it's one of the lessons of haikyuu that has stuck with me the longest. we, as people, believe we need to produce results that have meaning to us, but devoting ourselves to daily tasks is essential to who we are as people and how we live our lives. we do the things we do because they are necessary, and the outcomes that follow are just byproducts.
kita is such an important character to me, and I wish this rant could do him some justice. all in all, kita shinsuke, you are the greatest philosopher of our time.

here to talk about shin from nana again iām very attached to him like he means the world to me itās so sad to me seeing what he has to deal with and what he has to go through knowing heās a kid and he deserves more than the world has given him i will forever stand by that and the fact that at such a young age he had to resort to what he did to make money is so upsetting and donāt get me wrong i love nana, hachi, nobu, and yasu a lot but i also feel the adults in his life couldāve done more to teach him or care for him because he didnāt have any parents that would look after him or love him or treat him the way he deserved to be treated and in all honesty if i was them i would never allow him to do that i would take him in and pay for him to be able to live a comfortable life so he doesnāt have to resort to the things he does to have money and some of the comments he makes throughout the whole series makes me upset like him like him saying he wishes he was never born no one should ever have to think that especially a kid as sweet as shin and people can say otherwise but shin was always so sweet yes he did make those comments to nana but in a way thatās her own fault for saying what she said to shin she shouldāve never said that to him i understand she was having a hard time so i canāt be too mad at her but this is another thing where she is a adult and heās a child and he did absolutely nothing for her to say that or even excuse her for saying that and again i love nana so itās not like i hate her for that and iām not even exactly mad at her for that and then the comment he makes towards hachi about how he wishes he was born as her child like scenes like that just upset me because it truly shows heās a kid who wants someone to love him and care for him as a mother or father would because if you remember his mother died not to long after he was born and his father didnāt care for him because he knew shin wasnāt his kid all he deserves is someone who loves and cares for him and will treat him the way he deserves and then donāt even get me started on reira i genuinely cannot stand her at all the fact she even went after a romantic relationship with shin is so wrong of her and so disgusting and i genuinely need her gone like six feet under i donāt care that she was lonely or anything there is nothing that could ever excuse her sleeping with a 15 year old sheās a freak and reira she used shin and in my eyes she took advantage of him because again heās a 15 year old kid but she used him because she was lonely can couldnāt have the one person she wanted and no matter what it was for or consensual or not she should have never slept with a 15 year old she never shouldāve crossed those lines as a adult she knew better and shouldāve never went after that type of relationship with him because sheās a grown ass adult and heās a child she knows better and kids his age and especially what heās gone through can be easily manipulated i donāt know how their whole thing ends as iām not finished yet i have two episodes but i genuinely need reira gone and away from shin forever and in the end i just want shin happy, loved, and cared for like he deserves his character means a lot to me and i wish i could give him the world my silly son
twt has a stupid limit and i want to ramble but this time itās shin from nana he makes me so unbelievably sad and i feel so bad for him as a character he deserves the whole world and so much more like in the heās a kid heās 15/16 and itās so upsetting what heās doing heās a kid and he should not have to be doing that to have a place to stay every night i wish he had a loving family i know he has his friends but like i know itās a show and i shouldnāt be getting this sad over it but the fact that they just watch him do this and yeah they make comments about how he shouldnāt and stuff but like they donāt actively do anything to help him so he doesnāt have to do it anymore and itās just upsetting to me and i get so upset anytime he mentions that he does that or the time he told hachi after she asked if they did something āyou didnāt pay meā heās a kid :( he shouldnāt even be thinking that he should be happy and living his life but the fact he does that is so sad bc heās a kid but at the end of this idk how his story goes on bc iām still currently watching but i want him to not have to do this anymore and be happy :(
my first ramble here is going to be about akayona whoās surprised but anyways i feel like the story for it is extremely well done and all the characters are written extremely well and how all of the dragons, yona, yoon, and hak care for each other means so much to me found family has always been one of my favorites for the longest time bc you see these group of people all from different backgrounds and stuff come together and learn to love and care for each other and would do anything for them and the way the dragons care for yona means the world to me and each of their dynamics with yona are amazing and all are different from each i could ramble about how each of the dragons mean to me but idk if anyone would want to read that anyways i need my found family happy at the end of this or i fear i may not make it i love them dearly
i miss them so bad š
i'd like to think that the reason why the fanbook emphasizes zeno's ability to cook vegetable soup well is because zeno used to make it for kaya when they were together
the thought was somewhat inspired by this panel! i'm not even sure if they were having vegetable soup here but my headcanon is that zeno took over and made sure that their food was cooked properly after this lol
