Undone by Your Hands

For today’s prompt, Ribbons Undone, I envisioned Gwyn and Azriel in a more private, intimate setting, with the two unwinding together.

Both of these characters carry the weight of their regrets and their ambitions, so I wanted to commission an artwork of them at the end of a long day, simply basking in a late night moment with each other.

A massive thank you to xianozi on Vgen for creating this stunner. They are an artist I’ve had my eye on for a while, so it was a real treat to be able to work with them! This piece leaves me breathless every time I look at it💞

Hello I am back with the lucien drawing! Decided to render just his head out since I wanted a pretty pfp :3

Anyways, I am not too sure how the colors look since my iPad is real shit and never shows accurate colors, but I hope it looks alright on other screens

Azriel was the night sky, shadows always by his side. Gwyn was the sea, a song rising from its depths. And at the horizon, where the sky kisses the sea, his shadows found a song worth answering. 🌊✨

It was such a privilege to commission this by @dimalry. Every detail she brought to this piece feels like poetry, the night spilling into the water, Gwyn becoming part of the sea itself, Azriel and his shadows surrounding her like the endless sky, and that quiet place in the middle where they finally meet.

There’s something so beautiful about imagining them this way, the Shadowsinger and the priestess whose song his shadows could not help but answer. 🤍💙🩵

i love the way she pulls him by the hair for a kiss. for this art, i chose perse, which i didn't choose to illustrate one but three arts for gwynriel weeks, she became a friend and we even exchanged several theories about gwynriel, which made the process very fun and very cool to work on it! i thank you perse, for your time and dedication to illustrating so perfectly and being so nice.

I’d had this idea in mind for a long time, and when I saw the theme’s name, I said, “THIS IS MY MOMENT!”. Which version do you like more?

I was going to do it in my colored sketch style (simpler), but I ended up working on it much more than usual 🤭

We had so much fun coming up with this concept together! Then, Maju took it and created absolute magic ✨️
