A Lesson In Yesod ×ְץ×Öš× (of Linear & MultiDirectional Consciousness)
 In all directions we think, feel, lean and understand but what does this all mean? We cast label on to other animal as to belittle them as to not having the same elevated powers such as emotion, logical thinking and self awareness but is this true?
 The definition of CONSCIOUSNESS:
1   a   :  the quality or state of being aware especially of something within oneself
    b   :  the state or fact of being conscious of an external object, state, or fact
      c   :  awareness; especially   :  concern for some social or political cause
2   :  the state of being characterized by sensation, emotion, volition, and thought :  mind
3 Â Â : Â the totality of conscious states of an individual
4 Â Â : Â the normal state of conscious life <regained consciousness>
5 Â Â : Â the upper level of mental life of which the person is aware as contrasted with unconscious processesÂ
 The limited understanding of such a powerful connection is shown in these words and they barely scratch the surface of how this is even possible.. To explain it simply is a folly of someone who has the limited grasp of the words alone, What if the breakdown isnât as complicated but more of a directional flow? Visualize it as Consciousness = Self-awareness > reaction> emotions
Multidirectional Consciousness is a higher form of flow.. Seeing as:
Consciousness = Self-awareness > reaction> emotions
Multidirectional Consciousness = Self-awareness > Reaction> Emotions> Processing Emotions> Discernment of Emotions>Â Discrimination of Emotions> Acceptance/Change of Emotions
 These are simply what I pulled together from this lesson but this is far from what actually is. The connections to the Sephirot & Qliphoth are the not the pinnacle of Consciousness but a stepping stone upon that path of Spiritual and Personal Growth. Linear consciousness is in fact as it states a straight line of reaction and emotion, nothing more to be placed within the parameters of good/bad positive/negative. Our evolution of consciousness has given us this ability to comprehend the connections to where our emotions, energies and reactions stem from. Not just in the physical world but also spiritual as well. All is energy and with energy all is connected, as with thought is energy it all resides back to the Sephirot & Qliphoth and our conscious and sometimes unconscious connections to them.
The Ammonite to the Crocodile, The Bird to The Monkey & The Money To The Man all are conscious, all are creatures of thought, instinct, reaction & emotion. Man is not the pinnacle of this processes but a stepping stone in this. We are still too young to understand and have too many years to count until we do, but it is only in our collective ego that we have stepped aside from the acceptance of our own being and have placed us as separate from all others when we, in fact, are the same simply a step further then others. We are not more, nor are they any less. Once man steps back into the consciousness that we are as all others as they are with us, we will begin to see that what we are isnât that special but as a progress of where we came from tow here we are as of right now.. The ego will die and when it does man will return to the balance it seeks so desperately and yet it is only right in front of us, we only blind ourselves to seeing it out of fear of not being âspecialâ..
The Kybalion â I. THE PRINCIPLE OF MENTALISM.
âTHE ALL is MIND; The Universe is Mental.â â The Kybalion.
This Principle embodies the truth that âAll is Mind.â It explains that THE ALL (which is the Substantial Reality underlying all the outward manifestations and appearances which we know under the terms of âThe Material Universeâ; the âPhenomena of Lifeâ; âMatterâ; âEnergyâ; and, in short, all that is apparent to our material senses) is SPIRIT, which in itself is UNKNOWABLE and UNDEFINABLE, but which may be considered and thought of as AN UNIVERSAL, INFINITE, LIVING MIND. It also explains that all the phenomenal world or universe is simply a Mental Creation of THE ALL, subject to the Laws of Created Things, and that the universe, as a whole, and in its parts or units, has its existence in the Mind of THE ALL, in which Mind we âlive and move and have our being.â This Principle, by establishing the Mental Nature of the Universe, easily explains all of the varied mental and psychic phenomena that occupy such a large portion of the public attention, and which, without such explanation, are non-understandable and defy scientific treatment. An understanding of this great hermetic Principle of Mentalism enables the individual to readily grasp the laws of the Mental Universe, and to apply the same to his well-being and advancement. The Hermetic Student is enabled to apply intelligently the great Mental Laws, instead of using them in a haphazard manner. With tire Master-Key in his possession, the student may unlock the many doors of the mental and psychic temple of knowledge, and enter the same freely and intelligently. This Principle explains the true nature of âEnergy,â âPower,â and âMatter,â and why and how all these are subordinate to the Mastery of Mind. One of the old Hermetic Masters wrote, long ages ago: âHe who grasps the truth of the Mental Nature of the Universe is well advanced on The Path to Mastery.â And these words are as true to-day as at the time they were first written. Without this Master-Key, Mastery is impossible, and the student knocks in vain at the many doors of The Temple.
