Sometimes……….I feel as tho oda gives us too much luffy zoro content. he goes a little too hard writing them as soulmates. the symbolism alone. the sun and moon. the king of the pirates the king of hell. the matching scars. zoro wouldn’t be a pirate if luffy wasn’t his captain. the trust the devotion — how could this happen with you here? luffy seeking his face first & blushing at the sight of him. zoro willing to die for luffy bc somewhere along the way his ambitions only matters if luffy achieves his along side him. the joy and laughter and adventure they found in each other, just two boys in a dinghy no map no plans just their dreams. ‘I’ve always believed in you’ / ‘it’s safe because you’re here’ ‘he’s with me’ oda WHAT is ur problem

freak4freak is always so awesome but another character dynamic that i think is really great is freak vs freak. you're the only person who understands me and i'm the only person who understands you. unfortunately this also does not stop either of us from hating each other and in fact it might even make everything significantly worse for everyone involved
