I think the Vees should have been a group of Evil Queer women. In general I think Hazbin should be more female characters centered, but here me out.

So under this concept the Vees would all be very undermined Overlords at the start of the series. With an assumption from sinner that they were women who were sent to hell for Vanity and they aren’t really dangerous.

We would still see Vox be messy with Alister but we will also see the fact that Vox only got power over the past few years since Alister disappeared because she was the next best thing. Val and Vel are more or less Overlords by Proxy. That’s what we learned about them in season 1

Season 2 would be a timeskipper to over a year later from Sir.Pentious death. Where we see the Hotel being successful with Pastor Charlie. But we also see just how much the Vees have continued to grow in that year , this is where V tower would be seen for the first time. With those who aren’t interested in Charlie are making deals with the Vees. Who still most Sinners consider weak because they are women. But they are also a trio of extremely manipulative women who are much crueler than assumed.

Other note for this is that Heaven would be a side note. We would see Sir.Pentious and our Heaven character but they wouldn’t be a focus at all this season. What we would see is Pentious telling them about Hell and Sara having her Regret moment(because it’s a nice balled song) but, they don’t make contact this season, that would be the big reveal at the end of season 3(which is Morningstar family focused in this)

In this version of season two we would also see all three of the Vees back stories at different points. Vox would probably be at the same point given her storyline wouldn’t change much. But her motive would be to get to the top of a TV station because of how men treated her whole life, very 9/5 musical vibes, extra points for her song being a nod to Cow Girls Revenge. Val would show a story of being raised by a single mom who was a pimp herself and because of that they had money and Val was spoiled then her mom died when she was a teen making Val lose everything and starting Val’s journey as a Prositute and later the owner of an extremely explosive strip club/illegal brothel. Velvettes sin was in fact Envy But she was a teenager influencer in the 2010s who did anything to be “pretty” which to her as a black teen in the UK was everything. She was so focused on herself and her lookes that she died from her Envy due to taking a tape worm pill and she also had a severe ED.

The point of showing these Upsetting back stories would be to show that even if bad things happened to you you don’t need to be a bad person. I also think these flashbacks/story telling moments would happen in front of Charlie who would point out like ya that was horrible but you didn’t need to do all that to be happy.

Val and Vel at that point would start stepping backs and thinking about what Charlie said because if the princess of Hell can see that why couldn’t they. Vox on the other hand is still on her power trip, to kill the seven deadly sins and become Hells god.
