For Christmas I bought my SO the entire run of the original teen titans from the 2000’s and we’ve been watching them throughout the year. One thing that I noticed that I never really noticed as a kid was holy shit the amount of collateral damage these kids inflict on the city. And in every episode. Then I noticed when all these world ending situations take place not once do they call for help from the JL. And I get trying to be independent and shit but IF ITS THE END OF THE FUCKING WORLD ITS PROBABLY OKAY TO BE LIKE “YO BATS, GIMME A HAND”
But anyways back to the theory. How can these kids inflict so much collateral damage and not piss off the town folk. Then it hit me.

Batman is trying to train the next gen of heroes so he puts them into a simulation without them knowing and scripts all this crazy shit. What about all the villains tho? It’s part of their sentence when they get arrested. They have to fight the titans
