Some sketches. SDCC.

It is work. You have to hit the books, learn to draw the basics confidently. Basics are perspective, anatomy, composition, balance of light and dark. Once you get fairly confident with those you will enjoy it more, the struggle will decrease quite a lot. Books I studied: anything by Andrew Loomis, George Bridgeman, anatomy classes, and plenty of real life gesture drawing. Being able to draw whatever I see with out struggle is a great goal to attain. You need to be able to draw from real life references as well as memorized anatomy and clothing and perspective from your mind. Time to put in some serious work. No games. You are your own boss, put yourself to work.

INVINCIBLE End of all things issue 12 final issue comes out this week. Crazy mix of emotions this last year has been in all areas of my life, I’m happy and sad this part is over. Change is good. But these characters will be missed. Thanks to you, the readers, the fans have been amazing and kept me going through all types of artist block. Drawing comics can be difficult, especially trying to race the deadline, and especially since some scenes are considerably more time-consuming than others it’s all so wildly different and sometimes an artist block can flare up where nothing you create is coming out the way you planned and there’s still that deadline looming over you. Reading fan comments is like having thousands of cheerleaders cheering me on, it definitely helps and I thank you for all the social media love! I hope you love this last chapter, we put our all into it.
