drew some ishmael(s) when i was supposed to be working on sticker sheets 😔

i've finally finished syn'del's expression sheet. her design has barely changed yet i feel she was difficult to transition into my current style? it really is just the colors giving me a hard time LOL. i also realized i made her a bit more...cute? 🤣 her face is very adorable for her to be so mischievous LOL.

Cynthia's expression sheet is done!! She's so cute 😚 She's gotten smaller over the years. I've finally decided she's supposed to be 4 years old. Her mechanical parts have also changed design. I think having her arms & legs match looks much better 😌 I'm actually pretty happy with the color scheme too!! I was scared desaturating her would make her look awkward but I'm actually a huge fan of how this turned out!

Rai'xir's expression sheet done!! There's a specific way I wanted his "hair" to look but idk if I accomplished that...🧍‍♀️ Love the new outfit though!! The conservative way of dress but having just a bit of his throat show...idk that's kinda sexy LOL. I 100% desaturated his colors to try to make him fit in with the rest of the crew's color scheme. I think it turned out...okay!

Gonna just share some sketches/WIPs since I like to see the little differences from the final product!! The first 4 pics are the clean sketches for the expression sheets I need to finish. At least Ishmael and Aldena are fully done!! I just need to redraw Kaneeka's sheet and then sketch out Xander & Cynthia...The last 2 pics are a couple of months old hence why Rai'xir's outfit is his old one in the height lineup. I'm so excited to have an outfit for him that better represents his personality!! Am I sad I won't be able to show off his arm muscles anymore? Maybe, but that's why I have Kaneeka "will rip off the sleeves of any shirt" Ogwang lmaaaooo.

Ishmael reference sheet using Ral's classic color swatch. I really wanted to limit myself to a specific acrylic paint palette to try to get that old animation vibe. I didn't know that violet was a notoriously hard pigment to replicate at the time this swatch was made, so there's never much of a purple undertone for 98% of these colors (and since I use nothing but purple undertones this was sooo haaard for me lmao). I think he turned out okay??? It's different!!! I'm coping!!!!

krait was made on february 12, 2012 and he is the only oc from that long ago that i still draw. originally, he was a snake gijinka based off the banded krait! i would always put him in a yellow and black striped hoodie but, like all things, he changed with times and now he's just a some guy, but he still makes rap music. sometimes i think he's way too cool for me to draw.

oc-tober day 1: new oc aldena is my newest oc!! she's only few months old but has become one of my absolute favorite designs. she is very much a gag character but she tries very hard to look intimidating until she twists her ankle on her heels.
