Nearly 1 whole year ago:
“Australia has shown me the happiest of ways to live life: meeting countless carefree people, gawping at breathtaking sights and diving head first into new experiences, such as living on this incredible island for three days with nothing but untouched nature and good company (no electricity or phones). A country that has truly gripped a part of me and won't let go... Let me stay forever!“
That was me, writing, elated, inspired and in love with what I was doing, surrounded by blue skies, . Cor, take. me. back. I’m now sat in a little shoebox of a room in Zone 2 in landan town, vaguely lost yet on a new path...... I have recently decided, after a looong 7 months, that I will take a break from my english literature degree in the big city (possibly permanently) to go BACK TO AUSTRALIA. (Zo hits Aus part 2??? or maybe that’s 3...) How can anyone deny themselves the evident happiness that was felt and shown in that little snippet of a post on an Instagram photo whilst on my way back from a Fraser Island adventure? Follow your heart n all that... Midnight ramblings which I have no idea of whom shall even read as I haven’t been on this Tumblr thaang in so long, but hey. Little life updates here and there. peace.
If anyone is/was particularly interested in hearing a little about what made me this happy/ tips and advice about a gap year in the East Coast of Australia, please feel free to have a gander at my (first and inexperienced) travel blog:
