This is the most perfect depiction of Yoosung's struggles I've seen lately, I barely see people talk about the fact that he IS a gifted and smart person who struggles thru life due to not having a clear goal to follow

Oh, Yoosung is SO smart. And he's also insightful, he's careful, he's attuned to people, he's a great person who wants to make the world a better and happier place. But he's never known where to apply himself because, well, what he wanted has never really been a question. And then he's struck down by hurt and grief, loss after loss: first the person who's shaped him dies (as far as he is concerned), and then his friends that he loves so dearly start drifting apart, and he himself struggles to keep up, struggles to muster the strength needed to function and to even do something, anything. What does he want? What is he allowed to want? What can he want? And what is he to do when he's always been just expected to be a Good Boy, but now he has to make decisions and take control, while all he really wants is to curl up and cry? And no one even really takes his grief seriously. He lost his guiding light before he even graduated from school. And then he was expected to know exactly what he was supposed to do in life. And when he didn't, he was dismissed as stupid and childish. Yoosung's struggles will always be close to my heart, and I think the way he claws his way up and out given just a little nudge, just a bit of love, is a beautiful thing. He struggles, but he perseveres. I will forever be proud of him

You've captured my exact thoughts absolutely perfectly oh my god😭🙏 I've always been so sad seeing how Yoosung gets dismissed as being just immature and childish/naive while he had to go thru so many setbacks yet STILL prevails no matter what. He actually talks about his feelings and struggles openly, being vulnerable, and even works on himself to become better (which he ends up succeeding in, being the fastest to become a doctor etc.). The struggle of not having a clear goal is something so many people can relate to, especially being in your early twenties, so it's so sad to see others not taking him seriously 💔
