Zivah walks in slowly and taps the wall with her skinny knuckle, calling out softly. "Hey, buddy.. Wakin' up?" She asks and slowly moves closer, in a navy blue set of scrubs with a black longsleeve underneath it all. Zivah holds her tablet while spinning her pen with a frown, crouching beside his bed. "Remember me?"

Zivah nods slowly and holds a hand out. "Try and- Could you hold my hand? Just want to see if the pain meds have kicked in yet, don't want you in pain after all that. And try to lie still, okay? You've taken quite a rough hit." She explains low as to not hurt his head or ears, being calm for him.

"I know, bud.." She hums and takes his hand, squeezing it a bit. "You took quite a hit, like I said. Remember anything for some kind of mission report we can make? Notes?" Zivah tilts her head while massaging his cold hand slowly, blood flow low. "Come on, hand... Don't drop off.."

"Okay, okay-" Zivah murmurs and lays him flat, shuffling on the bed while talking. "Hey, Dagger? Look at me, buddy. Good- Look right at me, just- Lock your focus. I want you to try and copy my breathing. What do you need?" She asks and takes his hand gently, pressing it on her chest to feel her breathing. "Deeeeep breaths, my love.."

"I know, my dear... You be strong, okay? Take a biiiig inhale for me, okay?" She rubs his hand tight and tries to calm him, subtly pushing more morphine with her other hand as his gaze looks to her. "Good, that's really good. Y' take another for me? I know it hurts, lovely, you're strong though. Isn't that right?"

"That's it.." She murmurs soft and moves off the bed, stood up again. "What do you want, bub? You- I can grab Albie, he's not busy?" She offers with a raised brow, tablet on the bedside.

"Okay, I- I can call him?" Zivah gently moves closer and gives him her hand to hold, checking her phone with one hand. "Want me to call Albie? If- If you remember him?"

"Yeah?" She nods again while moving to rub his hair. "Are you sure? Feeling better?"

"Heyhey- What happened?" She asks with worry, frowning deep and holding his leg down. "Is it sore? The morphine should have kicked in by now, and- We- we fixed your hip?"

Zivah nods and gives a gentle poke on his joints to see if it hurts. After a little, Albie walks inside and pauses in the doorway, sniffling. "Oh, mike..."

"Mike.." He mumbles low and steps closer, a hand over his mouth. "Micheal, what- what did they do to you...?" Albie sniffles as his eyes start to water, standing beside the bed. "My love, oh- Oh bubs..."

"Oh baby-" He sniffles and leans down onto the bed, hugging Dagger close. "Shhhhh... Shshsh.."

[Mike starts to full on sob against Albie, shaking and wailing as he clings on. He yelps when his body randomly twitches again, the bad knee getting very suddenly moved. Zivah sees this happen this time and again only a moment after. Dagger stays clinging on Albie, eyes shut tight.]

Zivah huffs and reaches for a brace, strapping it on his knee while they hug. Albie shakes and clings to Dagger tight, hand in his hair. "Are- are you okay..?"

"Where- Does Lynx even know?" Albie looks to Zivah, who shakes her head. "We don't wanna stress either of them out, Albie. Keep it low."

Zivah sat on a little seat and talked to Cody, a small light in her hands. Though she turns to face Petra and talks to her while Cody wiggles the light around on his bed. She gets up and stands next to Petra, taking her outside and talking. "Yes, all is good. You- Are very bloody." She murmurs and keeps her clean, navy blue scrubs away. "And I dunno. Any soldiers, last name Willson?"

Zivah gives a small nod and takes a step to leave, but freezes as she holds the clean scrubs onto the fresh, bloodied scrubs. "Petra.." Zivah deadpans and stares at the other medic, a slow blink breaking her annoyance. "My clean scrubs. My clean, freshly washed this morning, scrubs. My last pair, scrubs."

Petra's smile falls and she gets a guilty expression on her face and says. "Ah šit.. Sorry, how can I repay ya? Coffee for a month?"

Zivah squints at Petra and thinks for a moment. "Swap monkey." She grins and leaves to help Cody, talking to him again while trying to hide the blood on her scrubs.

Zivah gives a giggle and checks on Cody gently, stood beside the bed and showing her tools before using them. "See? Gentle poke. Is that okay?" She taps his hand lightly with the small needle, just a numbing agent for his large gash on the arm. Cody nods slowly and plays with the flashlight, not even feeling the needle or stitches. "I want my papa.." He whines and looks to Zivah, frowning. "Can you check if my daddy is here?"

Zivah nods and says as she starts treating the boy's wounds. "What's your daddy's name, if I can ask?"

Cody goes quiet and thinks for a little. "My- My mummy was crying before, and- And she was hurt... But- She was yelling out his name.." Cody thinks back and really uses his brain, Petra coming in with fresh scrubs. "Oh! It- It was- uhhmm.. Oh- Sylvester!"

Zivah shakes her head and leaves the room. "I'll go." She replies and leaves Petra with Cody, who plays with the flashlight. In the distance, Petra could hear her yelling of 'Sylvester Willson', to no avail.

Petra decides to sit down in the seat besides the cot, not really sure on what to do, so she mostly just watches the kid with a soft expression.

Cody wriggles and keeps playing with the torch, huffing heavy. Zivah comes back and stares to Petra, a little glassy-eyed as she wipes them off, chest shaking in a familiar cry.

Petra's expression becomes concerned and she excuses herself and Zivah as they go out the room and she says as she holds Zivah's shoulders. "Ey.. What's wrong, girl?"

Zivah's eyes blink fast and she starts crying, hiccups filling the air. "Ohh, god- He-" She sighs and just leans on Petra, panting. "The- The board posted a bunch of names- Noted casualties-" Zivah coughs out and holds Petra tight. "Top of the list- Sylvester and Vivianne- Willson- Both dead, me- Mentions of gunshots and- Toxins-" She pushes out seems wobbly on her feet. "Fuck- I'm gonna topple-"

Petra immediately wraps her arms around Zivah to keep her steady as she says. "Oh god.. Did they have any mention of extended family the kid could be put into care of?"

Zivah goes silent and her legs drop down, smacking to the floor. When she wakes, it's bright and too loud, chaos around her as she's curled in Albie's room on a chair. Zivah checks her pager and flicks through the names, paging Petra back to find her.

Petra comes to Albie's room, opening the door as she speas up. "Hey, Ziv.. Ya feelin' better?"

Petra says as she walks over to Zivah. "A good hour, seemed like you were.. completely distraught by the knowledge kid has both parents dead."

Zivah groans and doubles over at a sudden wave of stomach pain, holding her ears when they ring. "Mmm.." Zivah whines and clutches her stomach, eyes squeezed shut.

Petra gets a concerned expression on her face and she says as she walks over to Zivah, resting her hand on Zivah's back. "Ya got a stomach bug or somethin'?"

Petra crouches down next to her, a worried expression on her face and she says as she rubs the woman's back. "So ya can't take time off?"

"Nothing.." Zivah grunts and seems to gag again, then pukes and clutches onto Petra's arm so hard it might snap off. "Fuck-" She complains and grips harder onto Petra's arm if possible, eyes slamming shut with every shudder and wave of fluid spilling from her stomach.

Petra rubs Zivah's back to comfort her, not really phased by throwing since.. well it's kinda a daily thing that happens in the medbay, so she got used to it after some time.

Zivah shakes as she stands up to keep working, her pager beeping with a code blue. "Gotta-" Zivah pushes out and stands on shaking feet, similar to a foal.

Zivah groans in protest and gets up anyway when Petra leaves, trying to get to the scene. She eventually arrives covered in vomit, their main boss doing chest compressions falters and yells in shock. "Zivah?!"
