This is the first time in six months I've been able to do this. Took myself to a quiet cafe early this morning to have a real coffee (the luxury when you're a poor student! 😉) and fill a blank book with writing. 90 minutes later I've got pages and pages of notes on the different types of leukaemia and their treatment instead of the start of a new story. This is what happens when I follow a study question down the rabbit hole... After getting nowhere again during our 1RM testing this week and feeling incredibly discouraged and frustrated, I took some time out this morning to get some vitamin d, eat an ice cream, and ask myself if I had truly done everything I was supposed to do and which he had advised me to do in order to get those PRs. The answer: no. Which was kind of a surprise and kinda sucks.
