The entire concept of a company owning the rights of a character is stupid.
The Creator of the characters should retain the rights to their characters no matter what!
And if I hear anyone say "But they chose to sell the rights of their characters" I respectfully ask you to shut up because many artists literally have no other option if they want to create an animated show or something like that.
The entire system when it comes to things like this should be replaced with one where the creator retains full creative control and the company just gets a cut of the revenue.
Also companies shouldn't be allowed to change the plot, story, art style or anything of the sorts to their liking!
