I loved that they didn't hold back about the harm that the phan proofing did, especially early days, but also that they made very clear that they do not resent their current audience, don't want us to fight and attack each other over it, and don't want another round of endless self-flaggelation about it either.

I think they struck the balance pretty well.

on this blog i used to express my actual belief that zayn and liam (and louis and harry) were actually dating in real life. that was a long time ago, i don't believe it anymore, and i regret having been part of a culture that most likely made the boys....... pretty uncomfortable, at the very least. i'm glad they've probably never looked at this blog.

i do still adore their friendships as they were back then and i love to reminisce about the 1d era in general so i've continued and will continue to use this blog as i have in the past few years, same topic but without any romantic shipping.

tl;dr: i don't want this blog to represent the same opinions as it did 10 years ago. that's all!
