It's a weird fucking subreddit where guys push other guys to shave their heads to cope with the fact that they're bald. Somebody will post a completely recoverable or otherwise completely fine hairline and then everyone will be like "just give up. It's too late bro stop fighting it. Take the dive." I see them doing this to teenagers. They have rules against anyone mentioning any of the myriad of treatment options for androgenic alopecia. You'll get straight up banned for it. They masquerade as being some kind of uplifting body positivity community, but essentially tell anyone with any kind of receding hairline at all that they are disgusting and the only way anyone will think they don't look like shit is to completely shave their head. It's like a strange body dysmorphia internet-cult. It's seriously for real destructive to peoples' self-image, and very aggressively pushes an external, imposed image. They call it "the brotherhood." It's fucking weird! And I keep seeing people be all "haha it's so wholesome :)" about this weird shit.
