It was blunt, and to the point but as someone who had a lineage that was... as prestine as Toph Beifong, being blunt was kind of their thing. Still, fixing and cleaning airships and airplanes that were stationed in republic city, he had regular contact with any army that was there.

He's been fixing every single thing the Avatar couldn't, and it was getting rather old how often things get destroyed in this city. Tools were scattered around the open panel of the plane, and he had been putting upgrades to the current models.

"While the air nomads are not exactly the most advance, its good to know that at least they kept a radio on hand."

that somehow broke, somehow the only radio on the island. So an engineer was hired beforehand, and Baatar being one of the best had come.

Its something that he could not show on his face, that air nomads were just special by default. that the world would bow down to benders in general if they were few enough. But that just bitterness inside , and not that he actually felt like that.

"Unless you have anything else that needs fixing?"

"That should do it." though benders were creatures of comfort, with every convenience known to man. Nothing can beat a broken down heater. And getting to the cold months, his business as repairing everything down to the gears meant he had plenty of work.

Thankfully this was his last job to do.
