I love him, but our relationship is monotonous. Is that okay?

You make me want to know what goes on in that head of yours. I’ll be honest: I’m not usually interested in the contents of other people’s heads. My own is work enough.

maybe they scare me. maybe they scare me because i like them. they make me laugh, they make me smile. i want to talk to them all day. and the most wonderful part is that they are the first person i have genuinely wanted to be romantically involved with since you. and that is it. i love you still. i will always love you. but finally i met someone that distracts my head of you. and maybe, maybe that is why i won’t let my walls down. and maybe that is why i seem to already be pushing them away. because i am moving on, and i don’t want too. i don’t want to let go of you. my soul just doesn’t want to erase you. but i can’t let the ghost of you keep me from living my life, from meeting new people, and from falling in love all over again anymore. no matter how hard i hold on, i know that you must go. and i must be free.
