Imagine finally getting a new game in over a decade only for it to be the fourth remake in a row I’m so sorry for all of you 😭🙏

This situation is not about me, it is definitely not about the people who are more worried about a fictional ip instead of someone who was raped, I’m just writing this to notify the few people who read the fic (granted it’s been on hiatus for several months now but still).

•The first half’s pacing wasn’t that rushed but that last third was fucking insane Jesus CHRIST 😭

•If you’re a monsterfucker or a furry you’re gonna get a lot out of this one I know I did :3

•Mario and Luigi’s dynamic was one of the best parts of the last movie and I’m so glad it got to shine throughout the entire runtime they’re very endearing I love them sm

•Bowser Jr is flat out a domestic terrorist with several dead bodies to his name and I kind of love it? Everyone was locked in for this one but holy shit Bowser was NOT moving like this last movie I might have to stan

•Bowser being a masochist is canon and I’m okay with that it fits

•Mario X Bowser getting more crumbs than Bowuigi what is happening

•Bowser got less to do this time but there was so much stuff going on that it didn’t really feel like an issue to me (unlike someone else’s absence 😔)

•Bowser and Jr’s relationship was so sweet and I hope they get a prison escape subplot in the next movie

•Benny Safdie Bowser Jr was something I got used to quite quickly but some line deliveries were definitely first takes that they decided to keep in for some reason it. It took me out of it a little at times tbh (not as egregious as Fred Armison Cranky Kong though)

•Rosalina’s my favourite Mario character and she always has been so seeing her get shafted THIS hard was the biggest disappointment for me :( I know I shouldn’t be surprised that a studio like Illumination wouldn’t keep her original lore considering how dark it is but mannnnn I wanted to see so much more of her dude (Brie was an amazing choice btw getting more people who are genuinely invested in the source material for this one was the right move)

•Donald Glover Yoshi is easily the best casting choice they’ve made so far he was absolutely PERFECT. Thank god he didn’t speak any actual words for a gag I loved him sm, silly little guy who does silly little things (no mama Luigi jokes though come on man it was RIGHT THERE)

•PIKMIN SHOWED UP FOR FIVE WHOLE SECONDS YEAHHHH PIKMIN SWEEP 🗣️🔥🔥

•I’m gonna be real the Mario 2 subplot kind of didn’t need to be here but it was fun ig that fight sequence was cool (that guy on twitter was right I need that frog to fuck me)

•Game & Watch cameo was neat, it took me ten seconds to realise that bowser was about to get his shit rocked though 😭

•Bowser Jr saw his dad die twice get him therapy wtf

•When Dry Bowser came on screen so did I

•Peach and Rosalina are sisters in canon now yippeeeee :3

•Rob was funnie free him he’s just doing his job

•I’m gonna be honest my knowledge on Star Fox is very limited and I haven’t played any of the games yet (which I will be getting very legally don’t worry) but GOD FOX WAS SO FUCKING COOL AND FOR WHAT??? THAT ANIME SEQUENCE WENT SO HARD DROP THAT SPINOFF MOVIE I DON’T CARE I NEED TO SEE MORE (or maybe that rumoured new game that’s apparently dropping later this year idk)

•Wart choking Birdo out was uncalled for come on bro pride month’s soon that’s not very woke of you

•Movie Mareach is adorable and I wish the best for them

•Bowuigi fans getting robbed again I’m so sorry all you people ever get are crumbs that you’re forced to make into meals sad days 😔

•THEY CUT DOWN THE NEEDLE DROPS SIGNIFICANTLY THANK GOD THAT WAS ONE OF MY BIGGEST ISSUES WITH THE LAST MOVIE 😭🙏

•DAISY IS REALLLL 😭🧡 (Nintendo get Ayo Edebiri to play her and my life is yours)

You can call me someone who hates fun but I’ll only be chill with this if it’s the same time as the main premiere. People are going to spoil the shit out of this if it comes out on the 4th (of June ofc), people put spoilers out for Iron Lung when it was still in theatres even after being asked not to, this will be spoiled in DROVES for those who didn’t get to see it early (ESPECIALLY IF IT’S ONLY HAPPENING IN SELECT REGIONS TOO).

Idk if this is even happening or not (and I don’t think it’s a bad thing in itself mind you, if they actually DID manage to pull this off than that’s really cool) but if it’s done less than two weeks before the YouTube premiere than idk man I don’t want to come across spoilers on accident.
