Everyone on tumblr has Conditions. maladies. I log onto tumblr and my mutuals are unwellposting. Idk if there's evidence against stratt also being aroace in the book/movie but I haven't actually seen any and both her and grace give vibes of "moved in together and are married for tax reasons, both aroace, bicker and talk like an old married couple" which is a trope I don't see nearly enough but highly appreciated.
They both will inform anyone who's weird enough about it that they would never dream of sleeping together, or even kissing. They've also both given up and refer to each other as husband/wife when asked the old "so do you have someone special?/when are you getting married?" Questions.
Neither of them changed their last names, heck, they both still call each other by them. Co workers have many questions and are equally as concerned as to why the hell anyone would be that okay with drugging their partner and sending them to space. Stratt says that it means people will leave her alone about having kids. Grace is in space with no memory and it doesn't get brought up to him until rocky asks about having a partner, which leads to a very awkward conversation and a very concerned rocky.
