Las fiestas de fin de año.

LAS FIESTAS DE FIN DE AÑO.

¡Cuídense de las fiestas de fin de año!

La gente hace idioteces el último día del año, es así como una necesidad antes de que acabe el año, las personas se liberan y no les importa, porque, de todos modos, es el último día del año y no tienen nada que perder. Al siguiente día todo iba a regresar a como era antes, al menos eso fue lo que pensé. Así como una competencia, mi mejor amigo y yo… pues, nos llevamos el premio a la idiotez más grande de todas en la historia de las fiestas de fin de año del mundo.

La universidad organiza todos los años la “gran fiesta de fin de año” llamada THE LAST DAY, no pueden describirlo de otra manera porque nadie sobrevive sobrio luego de la “gran fiesta de fin de año” como para contarlo luego y todos los de nuevo ingreso se emocionan, pero, de alguna manera, yo no me emocioné. Hyukjae, a quien conocí en primaria y fuimos mejores amigos desde entonces, es un año mayor, siempre lo fue, por ende era un curso mayor que yo. Toda la vida estuvimos separados pero nos manteníamos unidos siempre, se graduó antes del colegio y mientras yo estaba en mi último año, él iba a la universidad. Él fue el que me dijo que fuéramos a la fiesta porque dijo que la del año pasado estuvo de toque, que nunca lo olvidaría. Le iba a decir que no, pero me tomó de los hombros y me lo suplicó suavecito. Si tan sólo no hubiera ido, no, si tan sólo hubiera tenido los huevos para decirle que NO a él, a esos ojos suyos que… Soy un verdadero inútil, mamá, si tan sólo te hubiera hecho caso al elegir la universidad cerca de casa y no estar de necio queriendo ir a la universidad al otro lado de Seúl sólo por ir tras Hyukjae… Quizá, sólo tal vez, no me encontraría en esta situación.

Era primero de Enero y en mi cabeza habitaba un sonido estruendoso y matador que me deja sin cerebro. Abrí los ojos y me encontré con Heechul golpeando me ventana con el puño, casi que quebraba la ventana, si no es porque estaba seguro de que era resaca y no borrachera, no me hubiera creído a Heechul en esa situación, en bóxer y subido en mi ventana golpeándola como un completo loco, bravo, bonita lógica sorpresa, mundo. Y si no fuera por el dolor de cabeza que me desviaba los ojos podría jurar ver desesperación, miedo, preocupación y hasta enojo, todo en la misma expresión que tenía mi segundo mejor amigo en el rostro.

-¡Ábreme, Donghae hijo de puta! –me gritó, aunque por el vidrio a penas le alcancé a escuchar.

Me levanté, o al menos lo intenté por que caí de cara al suelo. Por favor, tenía una resaca de los sesenta mil demonios y no estaba en condiciones como pararme.

Me levanté como pude y caminé hacia la ventana.

-¿Qué haces ahí, ¿qué te pasa por la cabeza? ¿Mierda? –le dije mientras le abría la ventana.

No me dijo nada, creí que me iba a insultar de nuevo, pero no. Se sentó mi cama y metió su cara en sus manos, tenía su móvil en la mano, ah porque claro, olvida ponerse ropa pero no olvida su móvil, que imbécil. Pero, ¿qué le hizo venir tan rápido a mi casa en esas condiciones?

Levantó su rostro y me miró completamente serio, lo conocía, era la misma seriedad cuando me iba a decir algo importante. Y lo capté rápido, lo que iba a decirme tenía relación con el por qué vino a mi casa desesperadamente. Me hinqué frente a él.

-¿Qué pasó? –le pregunté adoptando su misma seriedad. Negó con la cabeza y se levantó, frustrado caminó de un lado a otro en mi habitación. Me levanté a seguirlo y no lo soporté más. -¡¿Qué pasó, Heechul?! –le grité a su espalda ya desesperado. Se dio vuelta y bajó la mirada y la volvió a subir mirándome.

-¿Recuerdas algo de la fiesta? –me preguntó, así como una pregunta que si respondía mal me iba a la horca.

Algo había pasado anoche que yo no sabía. Traté y recuerdo las primeras dos horas con Hyukjae y luego sin él, un balde lleno de cervezas, Heechul… más cervezas y de ahí… nada más.

-No, nada. ¿Me he metido en problemas con la universidad? ¿A Hyukjae la pasó algo?

Me sorprendió la cara de decepción que puso Heechul cuando mencioné a Hyukjae. Seguido de eso me tendió su móvil sin mirarme y se cruzó de brazos frente la pared. Por alguna razón me temblaron las manos cuando vi el móvil… ¿Un video? Lo reproduje.

¡Por favor! ¿Qué tenía de grave que yo estuviera hablando con Hyukjae en la fiesta? Pero, algo extraño había en nuestros ojos, sí, ambos estábamos completamente borrachos, no teníamos nada de lucidez y se nos notaba a leguas, estaba medio oscuro y entonces dejamos reír como retasados y puse mi mano en su pierna.

Que vergüenza.

Él miró mi anterior acto y me sonrió.

¿Qué?

Lo miré y él igual, de repente el video se volvía en cámara lenta.

Esperen, no.

De la anda, nuestro labios se juntaron.

Un beso. Hyukjae y yo nos besamos en la fiesta de fin de año. Por favor, que esto fuera una broma.

NO. No lo era, maldición.

Mis ojos sólo se fijaron en el vaivén de nuestros labios y mi corazón enloqueció y mi estómago igual. No lo soporté y tiré el móvil al suelo y fui directamente a meter la cara en el váter y descargar todo lo de anoche. Mientras vomitaba pensé en lo que pensaría Hyukjae sobre eso y vomité más, todo lo que pude, esperando que todo se fuera con la cadena del agua y hacer como si nunca hubiera pasado.

Me quedé en el suelo del baño abrazando mis rodillas viendo hacia el vacío.

-No sé si Hyukjae lo recuerda, pero no te preocupes, nadie más vio aparte de mí, si no fuera por el video no lo recordaría, así como todo el mundo, fui el único que tomó video. Fue en un lugar apartado y todo estaba casi oscuro. Nadie los vio.

No le dije nada a Heechul, ni siquiera lo miré. No me lo creía. Que la gente hubiera visto era lo que menos me importaba, lo único que importaba era si Hyukjae lo recordaba. Si no lo recordaba, viviera con eso toda mi vida y nunca le dijera, pero si lo recordaba ¿qué pensaría? Lo conocía perfecta mente y lo único que haría fuera mandarme directamente a comer mierda y nunca volveríamos a ser amigos y mucho menos hablarnos.

No me encontraba bien y Heechul lo sabía, y pensaba igual que yo. Sabía que él guardaría el secreto, confiaba en él.

-Borraré el video de mi celular, pero está en el tuyo. Estará seguro contigo, sabrás que hacer luego con él. –me dijo antes de irse.

Todo se vino abajo, empecé a pensar y darle vuelta a las cosas, odiaba eso. Por mí me hubiese pasado toda mi vida en el suelo del baño, y aunque me pasé casi dos horas ahí, no soportaba el olor a vómito en mi boca y tenía hambre. Eran la tres treinta y cinco PM y me metí a la ducha luego de comer algo. Mi apartamento parecía más grande de lo normal y no tenía ganas de nada, al menos no iniciaríamos ciclo hasta febrero. El tema rodaba en mi cabeza y por más que lo intentara, no podía olvidarlo. El universo conspiraba en mi contra y sólo tenía limpia la camisa que Hyukjae me había regalado para navidad. Cuando salí de mi habitación mi móvil estaba sonando, mi corazón se quedó quieto y alerta hasta que luego empezó a latir con fuerza contra mi pecho cuando vi quién estaba llamando “Hyuk.” Me tiré al sofá con las manos en la cabeza y aunque cualquier día hubiera corrido desesperado a contestarlo, ahora era diferente, no quería saber nada de él. Sonó un par de veces más luego de eso. Miré hacia el techo, me levanté y me quedé sentado, toqué mis labios y cerré los ojos lentamente, un escalofría pasó por toda mi espalda y el cuerpo ¿Tan cerca había estado de él apenas un día atrás?

Me calmé y todo se convirtió sereno, la tristeza me inundó. Porque lo sabía, sabía que desde hace años no pensaba en Hyukjae de una forma “normal” como otro chico, la verdad era que pensaba en mi mejor amigo de una forma más íntima y clandestina, con sentimientos fuera de lo común. Sabía, lo sabía, estaba consciente de ello, que muy en el fondo de mi ser quería, deseaba y anhelaba poder estar así de cerca de él y ahora que lo había obtenido ¿por qué no le gustaba y estaba angustiado? ¡Por que tenía los pies sobre la tierra! Era realista y sabía perfectamente que Hyukjae nunca jamás en la vida lo vería de la misma manera que él lo veía y sentía y que nunca se atrevería porque sabía que era mejor quedarse así, con las ganas, que perderlo para siempre. Arruinaría todo lo que había creado en años, esa única amistad. Todo estaba mal, sabía que él mismo estaba mal y que no debería de pensar de esa forma, me maldigo y maldigo el día en que conocí a Hyukjae.

Frustrado tomó su móvil y vio un mensaje y llamadas 4 perdidas, sabía a quién pertenecían las llamadas y el mensaje y abrió el mensaje que contenía un video adjunto.

Se lo pensó muchas veces. Por irse a vomitar no vio el video completo y no se atrevía pero, quería, quería verlo con todas sus ganas, quería saber todo sobre al acto que había compartido con Lee HyukJae, su mejor amigo.

Automáticamente ya se había reproducido solo, claro con ayuda de él mismo.

Las risas estúpidas, desde esa escena el corazón ya se le había disparado por todas partes.

El roce descarado en la pierna de su amigo, ¿en serio estaba tan borracho?

Cuando se miraron el uno al otro, a penas y había podido captar la intensidad con la que se miraron aun con la mala calidad de la cámara.

Sus propios labios ardieron luego de ver cuando juntaron los labios, así como si tuvieran vida y hayan recordado el sublime beso. El lento vaivén de sus labios, acomodándose exactamente a la medida de la boca del otro moviendo la cabeza de izquierda a derecha aumentando la profundidad del beso. Tapó su boca sintiendo su propia respiración acelerarse entrecortado y fuerte al ver que en la imagen Hyukjae tomaba su cuello y metió su lengua en su boca, dominándolo por completo, duraron unos segundos más y se separaron, se les agotaba el aire y respiraban más satisfechos que sin aire, él miraba a Hyukjae pero en cuestión de un milisegundo  a otro, Hyukjae posó sus labios en su cuello besándolo suave, lento y profundo, estaba muriendo, maldijo a su ebriedad por no recordar nada, se maldijo fuerte. Hyukjae no dejaba que nadie tocara su cabello pero ahí estaba él en el video con sus manos llenas de su cabello suave con que siempre soñó. Se vio al mismo disfrutando mucho y cerrando los ojos de puro placer, sentía celos y envidia de él mismo.

Su mejor amigo se separaba de su cuello y de él. Luego ahí acababa el video.

Se fue hacia atrás con el móvil en su pecho cayendo acostado en el sofá totalmente sonrojado, no se lo creía. Quería no creer pero su cuerpo lo sentía, de repente lo recordaba y pudo sentir cada roce y tacto de Hyukjae bastante vivo en su piel. Estaba lleno de él por todas partes desde su mente hasta su propio cuerpo… 

D&E Men’s Uno Interview

The story started 15 years ago. Donghae joined SM as a trainee. He couldn’t get used to Seoul when he first arrived, and there was no friends who he could rely on. He was on his own. But he stuck on to his dream and worked hard towards achieving his goal. Then, in the Company canteen, he met Eunhyuk, at that time, neither of them knew they would be assigned to the same group, they only knew they were both new comers. With Eunhyuk being witty and happy character, it made Donghae relax so much, and the two started became good friends, and since then is already 15 years! Eunhyuk: “After so many years, we are still exactly the same like we first met, we are still so naughty, still so pure, still nothing has changed! The feeling is wonderful!” After Eunhyuk finished, they looked at each other and smiled, from the eyes they exchanged a secret which only the two would know.

The impression that Donghae and Eunhyuk give to us are very different. Donghae seems to be a hard-working manly type while Eunhyuk is the joking playful type. When they are together, the characters are so different, yet they are so compatible. It feels like Donghae has been influenced by Eunhyuk, changes slowly from a shy little boy to a humerous guy; and at the same time, Eunhyuk has been influcened by Donghae, gradually become more stable and reliable. After this cross-influence, the chemistry between them is perfect. When they first knew each other, they had already wanted to have a sub-unit together, to have an album together, to perform together. However, after they became members of SJ, they had been so busy, so this thought had been put aside.

Then the story changed to 2011, when all the members were busily preparing for SS4, and were preparing for their own solos, Donghae suddenly thought,“ Is boring to perform on stage by myself, two people must be more fun, so I suggested to the Company about performing together as a sub-unit, and the company agreed immediately.” Then their first product {Oppa Oppa} appeared, relaxing and fun song which was widely accepted by all fans, and it set the rock base for Super Junior D&E. Last year with their Japanese Album {Ride Me}, and this year with their first Korean Album {The Beat Goes On}, they have fulfilled their childhood dreams!

In Korean culture, guys will address each other as ‘brothers’, and according to their age to decide who is the elder who is the  younger. Guys address each other as friends’ if they are same age, even is newly acquiantance, the two will automatically become 'friends’. SUPER JUNIOR D&E Donghae and Eunhyuk, they are both 'same age friends’ and also 'real friends’, born in the same year, joined the company in the same year, and debuted in the same year. Their brotherhood has been built up by 15 years of togetherness.

Super Junior D&E only has Donghae and Eunhyuk, even though there are dancers on the stage with them, the feeling is just different from SJ on stage.

Donghae: “When it is just two of us, I always feel there are very few people next to me, it feels like the stage of SJ and D&E is just too different.” Normal days when 12 members gather together, the whole place will be full of noises, it is just like having a party when everyone talks, especially when they appear together in variety shows. Eunhyuk: “Before, even if I was not good enough, there would still be other members around, I could just sit at the back and not do the talking. Now, everything will have to be handled by just the two of us, the pressure is much larger, because responsibility is much heavier”

But as they have debuted for 10 years and were so well-trained, fans who have seen Super Junior D&E performances all know that, they are perfect in what they do, their stages are so full of fun, this is probably because these talents are natural to them!

The interview was done the day after their D&E concert in HK, Donghae and Eunhyuk came with their tired bodies, rubbing their eyes while greeting our staff, then walked into the dressing room. After just a little while, they were both ready and doing all different poses in the most skillful ways. During the photo shooting, they didn’t talk much, but full of well understanding of each other. When Donghae slanted his body to one side, Eunhyuk would immediately respond with similar action, every action matched so perfectly.

Because of the perfect coordination between the two, the shooting then finished very smoothly. Being together for 15 years, working partners and also good friends, it is not surprising to have this kind of understanding towards each other. Donghae: “We have been staying together since very young, our hobbies, age, and even our heights are very similar, we also like similar kind of music, so it is very natural for us to have Super Junior D&E”.

Even they have debuted for so long, Donghae was still uneasy in front of the camera and being very quiet. Eunhyuk who was sitting next to him, on the other hand, didn’t stop talking, and from time to time would whisper to Donghae and lead him to answer some questions. Sometimes, Donghae would add his own opinion to Eunhyuk’s answers. The atmosphere between the two and the way they are to each other are enought for us to envy.

Eunhyuk: We are together everyday, from debut, we moved to our dorm together, and we spent all our life together and we work together, we are just like family, we really know each other too well (Laughl). In fact, is only in front of the camera that Donghae would become so quiet, behind the camera, Donghae really loves to joke, and makes all the people around him very happy. Eunhyuk said he was used to talking more in front of the camera to cover the blank spots of Donghae. And Donghae would feel very relaxed with Eunhyuk taking care of him this way. As they know each other so well, knowing each other’s good and bad points, strong and weak points, these two brothers know their way of understanding each other, taking care of each other, and with this, their friendship can go a long way!

This year, they are both entering the 30’s, this is another stage in their life. No more a childish youngster, but increased their feel of maturity. While starting the D&E, they both have different thinkings and destination.

Eunhyuk: “For the past 10 years, we have grown up a lot in every aspect. Before, when we did recordings and practicing, we cared very much the final results and how it came out. We often felt so worried and uneasy, but as time went by, now I think I have become more mature. We thank you all our fans for their love and encouragement. Now, compare to 'results’, I appreciate more the 'process’, and hope to enjoy the whole process to the most.” This time when making {The Beat Goes On}, Eunhyuk participated a lot from beginning to end, added a lot of his own ideas, and fully enjoyed the whole process of making the album.

Asked about D&E future destination, Donghae actively answered, “Actually, there are still a lot of possibilities in the future, we will try our best to enjoy every moment of it, and hope that every concert or every new album, we can bring the audience a new refreshing feeling, let them see our different images, and we want to repay our fans’s support with these, these are our destination.”

After the interview was over, Donghae sighed with relief, Eunhyuk padded Donghae’s shoulder with a smile, and Donghae also returned a smile to Eunhyuk, and ready to leave. Although neither of them spoke, but from the tiny action, we could see their intimate relationship, how they support each other, neither of them can live without the other, and continue hand in hand to grow in their paths of life! (c)
