What you need:

1. Get the LI of your choice

2. Make sure you have put flowers AND a vase in shared box. Also note that they use stuff in shared box ONLY when they're making arrangements on their own, and not when they're invited while you're making arrangements.

3. Buy and make a single garden fence, I prefer the 'U' shaped fence, but any is good. Or just any piece of furniture really.

4. Get everything interactable out of the entrance area.

5. Put the workbench in entrance area.

6. Block the entrance area with a fence or any furniture. Just like when you'd trap your sims in the pool. The LIs are programmed to be able to teleport in case they get stuck somewhere in the house, but the escape point (same for you if you get stuck, you can actually find the escape button when interacting with OTTO) is the FRONT DOOR. If they get stuck here, they will just keep on teleporting to the same place.

7. Call the LI of your choice.

8. Be patient with them, they are going to be annoying and will be telling you that they are stuck behind furniture for some time.

9. They are probably going to want to try different activities before doing the arrangements. My Caleb instantly gets the vacuum.

10. You need to ignore all their attempts to escape their little flower arranging prison. After some time, they will accept their fate and start making the arrangments.

11. DO NOT ENTER THE DECORATION MODE WHILE THEY ARE ARRANGING. THIS WILL GLITCH THEM OUT. YOU ARE FREE TO ENTER THE DECORATION MODE AS SOON AS THEY TELL YOU THEY HAVE A GIFT FOR YOU.

12. They may not be in the mood to give you flowers instantly after they finish arranging. You are still free to let them free when they are done arranging. You will get the flowers at some point. You can try calling another LI and then calling the one that made the arrangement, or you can exit the house and get back. At some point they will give it.
