its funny looking at the reactions to black panther on comparison to crazy rich asians from both communities. black people hyped up the movie for MONTHS made out own little jokes and said that WE would go see the movie multiple times and everyone else followed suit cuz y’all always want to be involved in what black people are doing. now with this crazy rich asian movie all i see is “y’all better support this movie like you did black panther” and it’s like yet again y’all want other people to do your leg work. YOU support the movie YOU get people excited cuz WE don’t owe y’all asses a fucking thing. this idea that any success black people have must be repaid is delusional lmso. y’all always wanna play this “solidarity” shit when it benefits you but steady engaging in digital black face or associating with anti black people or what ever else.
