What am I?

“Of course I have, but that does not make it any less shocking. Especially since the Meowth would not allow me to run any tests. So I have no basis for reasoning how it is possible.”

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! 

Okay, now he was like 60% sure that he was just having a really fucked up nightmare. Because that Zangoose just exploded and turned into a fucking mutant! .. While still looking as shady as a fucking zangoose did! 

         “You gotta be fucking kidding me, what kind of freak show are you?!”

He could feel his heart pounding in his chest. Damn, been a while since he felt genuine terror like this. 

(🐟✩🐱✩🐟} - “..For the most part, I’m pretty sure we do.” Leonard smiled a bit as those words left his mouth. He’d never really seen anyone be refused service here, no matter how unusual they seemed. Unless they were causing so much disturbance within the cafe, but that usually didn’t happen. At least not since he’d worked here.

“..Would you like a seat?”

     “Great! I’ve been turned away the past two cafes due to my looks,” the pokmon replied as he stepped forward carefully. He’s never had luck when it came to his looks, but sometimes people would accept him anyways which was nice.

“You gonna get beaten to a pulp is what!” He said that, but he was hiding behind a rock as he shook his fist at the Pokemon. Shit shit shit. Why did it have to be a Zangoose?? … “I don’t like you shady motherfuckers!, Go away already! Fuck off! This isn’t your turf!” … 

     “All the way behind that rock? Don’t make me laugh! You’re not doing a good job being threatening when you’re all the way over there!”

    The figure of the Zangoose suddenly blew up into a thich white and red smoke. Leaving the smoke clear, the figure was not quite human, but not quite Zangoose either.

…Perhaps his reaction was a bit rude, but it wasn’t exactly something he expected to see.  At least he recovered from it quickly enough–mouth settling into a frown as his eyes drifted over the man-pokemon’s various features.   “Ah.  Yes, that’s… very… nifty.”

What else was he supposed to say?

“I can’t help but to worry about anything! Even if ssome are nice, my internal panic mode setss off and I can’t calm down quickly enough.” Itching behind one of her horns sheepishly, glancing off. “I try to be mysself in timess of fear, then again I have difficulty doin’ that.”

“Well hopefully it wears off soon, because I’m not sure I can really get you in like this without causing a scene.” If only his human features were a bit more believable, then maybe she could convince them it was a costume until she found Wicke. “Well, if humans did it to you, then they can probably undo it as well.”

Zorua thought since this Pokemon was showing off it’s semi-human form, it would show it’s own as well. Although Zorua’s human appearance was nothing more than an illusion anyways, unlike Zangoose’s being physically there.

      “I don’t think that’s necessary... I’ve ran into trainers that dress up as their favorite pokemon. I think it’s called cosplay? Why not say I’m just a cosplayer?” Mimo suggested. “That’s what I do sometimes... it works for most crowds unless they see me transform... Cuz many people don’t believe a pokemon could become human.”

     He nodded his head, “That’s what I’m hoping... But I don’t know what happened to those that did it to me. I DID wake up bloody in the middle of no where in human form,” he said as his tail twitched.

“Wow! No! You stay right where you fucking are, or you gonna get it!” Jacks took a few steps back, he did try to threaten the Pokemon, but it did not sound very convincing. Like a Zangoose wasn’t bad enough, it had to be a talking Zangoose!

“Yay! Thank you, mister! I did try asking the Pokemon around the village where I live right now with my mommy’s friend, but they didn’t see her. So; I was about to give up hope when a stranger Pokemon offered to help me, but..

I haven’t seen him in a little while. He said he was going to see his “allies” for a little while. So; he’s not going to help me. I’m sure of it.” Maxxy furrowed his brows crossing his arms in defiant annoyance. How could a Pokemon give up searching for a little Pokemon’s mother? Jeriko seemed out of place before, but Jeriko is really starting to annoy Maxxy. He didn’t want to stay in the village anymore.

    “Of course! Well, hopefully she won’t be too hard to find. Maybe we could also run into this other pokemon? And we could ask him about it all and see if he can lend a hand. I got all the time in the world, so I don’t mind waiting to find my own family. Finding your mum is more important,” he stated with a nod.

“Of course, I’m sure Miss Wicke will know everything. She is in charge of looking after all the Pokemon in the conservatory and I work under her.” Wicke was one of the few people she could enjoy being around, it was hard not to smile when being around her. “There’s also the Professors living in Alola and the Branch Chief. So I’m sure you’ll find something out from one of them at least.”

It was pretty much not a possibility for Zorua to be shocked beyond belief. Apparently today was the day it was finally at a loss for words. It transformed back into its normal form and sat down to process what it just witnessed.

Kayla was at an equal loss for words. Sure, she’d seen humanoid Pokemon before and Zorua had its own human form it could change to, but this was on a whole new level of weird. “Well I’m not so sure I can take you to Aether looking like that. Just. Wow.”

      It seems that this Miss Wicke could possibly help him. But then again, he didn’t like buildings.. with people. He didn’t trust people. He’s had some try to capture him, wanting a unique pokmeon to add to their collection. He feared that, being caught, and then placed away, never to see day again. Luckily he has perfected the skill of batting pokeballs away.

     The pokemon observed their reactions, sort of finding it amusing. Most people were in awe that they could do. Some pokemon did have human forms, but his was almost like turning human and then stopping mid way and being stuck in a mutant form.
