Just Whistle...

❝With the way you stomp around? Please.❞

“I totally do not stomp!”

Serah groaned as she came to her scenes. Her body felt completely numb but so how she managed to mumble out words, “Too. Loud…” The pinkette, with a little more effort opened her eyes but realizing how bright it was closed them again only to open them more slowly the second time and squinting as her vision adjusted to the outdoor lightning. “Where..am I?” Her words were still quiet, a whisper. It hurt to speak, her throat felt like it was being attacked by a cactuar.  She tried to laugh at that thought but it only made her wince in agony. 

He could tell by her clothes that she might not have been from Spira. There’s no way she could be a dream like he was either. Where did she come from, and how did she get here? “What’s your name?”

“It’s not Delivery Tidus, It’s DiGiorno.”

“Yeah, whatever. Pepperoni and pineapples, Cloud.”

★ “Where—”

“What? I’ve got pockets.”

“Star player for the Zanarkand Sky Whales.”

“Just remember; 30 minutes or it’s free, delivery boy!”

“ i’m not gonna help you if you choke again. “

“Guess I’m not sharing then.”

❝You think I was only like that on the pilgrimage? Besides, wouldn’t you prefer to spend your time with Wakka, Yuna or Rikku? I’m sure they’re much better company than I.❞

“Maybe you were, maybe you weren’t. Point is now that you aren’t it’s time to let your hair down. If I wanted to hang with them I would. I wanna hang with you, though. If you want me to go away, I will.”

❝But why? What have I done to warrant it?❞

“Nothing. You were just so serious and focused on the pilgrimage that I never got this chance with you. I got a lot of catching up to do.”

❝Do you enjoy teasing me, Tidus?❞

“It’s pretty amusing, yeah.”

❝Correct… though I do not talk like that.❞

“I don’t know. I think I got it right on the money.”
