Identifying Spectacles

After meeting up with a woman dressed in colorful clothing that match the description of a powerful wizard, that could relieve a mage from his spell of madness, Viiris couldn't stop to keep her close. He knew that they would eventually need her and managed to convince her to stay within communication reach, but not only that.

He was also rather straightforward with her ability to identify the magic items they have obtained during their travel, while they had no ability to do the same. After identifying a number of items, translating a piece of text and being convinced to stay within reach, she grew tired and handed the high elf a pair of glasses.

His eyes grew big of excitement, no matter how much he tried to suppress them, and was eager to receive them. She didn't manage to come up with a price of exchange, so until then, he will be in debt with her. It is a risk he is willing to take. Eager to try them out, he awaits each opportunity to but putting them on, he doesn't need to hesitate about. They share their thanks and Intel before separating ways.

These glasses are linked to her, if one of them holds onto them, she will always know where they are. And while the others were suspicious, Viiris is convinced that she has no harmful intentions and is willing to become her target, rather than the others.

The connection to a higher power as it once was, has been broken, corrupted, forgotten through ignorance, violence and hatred. Battles have been fought in various names, but none led to happiness. Cold and tainted have the ways of mankind grown, clinging to a desire that provides none of what they need. Greed rules their trust in others as well as their actions. Words are twisted and turned to the ears’ desire. Disconnecting one more with each passing day . . .

A knock on the door was heard and once the door opened up, a familiar person stood at the doorstep along with his rendered. They were decorated and carried a number of presents. Each of them is intended for a single person, or rather, The Person.

"It seems like I have arrived just in time. Allow me passage. The King is awaiting His presents."

The creation of fanart might be permanently banned in the future (for Europe). This is the reason why I try to focus more on creating original art. The coming of that law has already been confirmed, when it will take effect or the true details and consequenses have not been confirmed yet.

Getting too used to the joy of making fanart will only backfire in the future. I hope that my original art can somehow entertain you a little bit.

Originally, this was merely Viiris’ assignment, he was hired to accompany the man on his travel to a town where he will retire and have a comfortable life for his remaining days.

I am planning to use this account again for my artwork and have removed some of my older illustrations. I might remove more of the current in the future as well. From now on, I will mostly make original content. I might not be able to provide you with the fandom content that you might have been following me for.

Reading Session

I wanted to show my appreciation for the very origin of the Tales of series: Phantasia and with that, one of my favorite characters. I have used his anime/OVA design for this illustration.

I really enjoyed how much they have added personality-wise to this specific character. He is much goofier in the animation and that caught my liking a lot next to the game itself. I have made a few pictures of him in the past and felt the need to give it another try. The older games deserve a lot more appreciation!
