i made karen a little short (sorry) im aware shes the same height/ even a bit taller than frank but the pose that theyre in was just too fun to draw.

the idea is of course that Frank not only poaches but also kills Kingpins shady servants or soldiers who steal, rob honest merchants of their goods, illegaly mine silver, make fake money, or dont pay to peasant workers who work for them etc... all under protection from the the town nobility, who wont bat an eye to any of this.

Frank has a camp in the woods, where he lives alone (with his dog and a horse ofc.) i have to draw him fletching arrows or something...

Another thing i cant wait to build is Matt in the church, lets say maybe he had enough of seeing Indulgences be given to criminals as long as they have enought money to bribe the priests.

wilson is so hard to draw so i skipped his face lol, also because i want to give him a hat maybe? need to decide on that Also i drew Vanessa as well (but ill post that later ehehe i need a full on design of her outfit)

i think ill be changing Karens outfit the most because her character develops so much throuhgout the whole story. She would probably be good with herbs... Also just a peasant girl who really likes reading and is thus fluent in latin. She frequemtly visits the town monastery to learn write scripture and borrow books, thats where she meets Matt.

Hi!! Thank you im so glad my work inspires you to create !! As to answer your question I draw in Photoshop and even tho ive downloaded a bunch of brushes i still use mostly the preset ones nowdays lol... now im working with an ink brush from this brush pack (hopefully ill manage to send a link) and as far as shading goes, gradients are a big help for me, just adding a gradient to flat colour makes it pop really well. Plus it can sort of guide you to where the other/strongest shadows need to be. AND the blurr tool thank god for the blurr tool I use that a lot. For more detailed render i use a slightly modified charcoal brush (sending that as well) The rest I dare to say is practise and making your lineart more dynamic... i did have a strict method on shading but now my artstyle is changing rapidly so im abbandoning a lot of my older techniques. Hopefully i answered at least something. Thank you again for asking it means a lot!! 💘💘💘
