idk if this really matters to people who don’t speak french but in this scene gabriel only uses the pronouns “tu/toi” whereas marinette uses “vous” which is the respectful way of saying “you” and while yeah you use it for your elders it just feels like such a punch in the face of how much more powerful and “respectable” he is than her even when his evilest doings have been revealed
