All I ask is that you remember usπ, ask about our well-being, even if with just a few simple words that let us know we are not alone π« and that there are those who feel for us. Just shedding light on our suffering would be enough to ease this heavy burden and give us hope that kindness still exists.π
May these words reach those with compassionate hearts who will remember us and keep us in their prayers. This gesture alone would be enough for me.

Which were your most and least favorite akumas from season 6?
Design-wise, I would have to say I really liked A Fairy Good Night, along with Yaksi Gozen, Sleeping Syren and Climatiqueen! Dread Queen has also grown on me since her episode aired.
For a lot of the others, they're alright with a few nitpicks (not a fan of Lady Chaos' hair, I feel like Vampigami wearing a bindi is a bit, y'know, questionable, and I've mentioned my feelings about The Ruler having a Knight's Templar style vibe), but without question my least favorite akuma was Kung Food, with Grendiaper as a close second.
When it comes to abilities, though, The Dark Castle was a really fun akuma (and I would like to see more like it in the future), and I also liked Wreckless Driver, Sleeping Syren, and the Illustrhater. Lady Chaos and Sublimation felt comparatively very "meh".
So when it's revealed that lila is actually tomoe's kid I wonder what new name she'll go by.
(I also don't think we know the identity lila goes by with her 3rd mom, so. Expecting to get that too.)
Tomoe seems to call Lila, well, "Lila". I think that's probably what she's going to go by forever. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but Cerise Bianca and Iris Verdi were aliases of hers post- Wig Incident, no?
She's known to swap identities and swap moms, and it would be logical to say she is able to do the latter through the former, but I don't think canon ever evidences this directly. Other works do a lot with this idea, though, to give it credence. If anyone following me hasn't read my good friend's Lila origin story fic The Act yet, they absolutely should.
I think it's definitely possible that Lila has a true name that Tomoe gave her, one that she has since discarded. Given the very on-the-nose foreshadowing in The Dirtifiers, I think it's reasonable to assume Tomoe A. had her daughter Lila with a man, who B. betrayed her in some fashion (or was perhaps abusive, and thus she C. decided Lila was "illegitimate" or otherwise not worthy and D. created Kagami with the peacock miraculous as a replacement. Any elaborating on that idea is much more speculative, but the assortment of mothers and assortment of names could imply Lila was put up for adoption and cycled through foster care, no? It would be a very questionable route, but given the way this show works I think unfortunately the more questionable something is the more likely it is that it's canon.
All that to say, if we're getting any other names out of Lila, they will be an old name, not a new name.

second attack on @wisteriasymphony, this time of everybody's favorite dramatic man, Adrien! Because of course it'd take him to make me do a worm's eye POV of a guy reaching up with round perspective & an attempt at respecting the golden ratio.
Disclaimer: This oneshot references the real life murder case of Marie Trintignant. Definitely feels like something worth knowing before reading through.
What was the lip he had felt in the mattress made of, underneath the fitted sheet? The question ate at him as if he could still grasp it between his fingers like holding on to a larger, firmer hand; Lying stomach-down on the couch he had nothing in his fingers and they just sat limp, so it was just to give his hands something to want if anything, the tactile analogue to keeping conversation. One arm was thrown over his face, and beneath it he was all but blind. What kept Adrien there was Claudia above him, and what kept her there was the chicken scratch of abraded skin on his shoulderblades and the thin coat of Vaseline she let separate her sense of touch from his. He could already feel the way his undershirt would stick to it, like wet cheesecloth, and the image and how deeply and precisely he felt it disgusted him. Yet her hands worked. Yet he did not complain.
The soft crevice of Claudiaβs palm slipped up his shoulder to rest on the curve of his neck. Whatever short and agonied breathing heβd made from the cuts being touched (It was happening, he was sure of it), the music was just loud enough to disguise the noise. Claudia did not hum to it, though she would hum to herself on occasionβ Adrien sat up as he felt her weight lift from his back, his own hands finally free of their wishing to play with the lip of a mattress beneath a fitted sheet and raising itself to meet where sheβd touched his neck. The playlist continued; Something soft like a flute over howling noises; They looked each other in the eye; Her room was dark, dark enough to be a million layers of velvet sandwiched into three-dimensional shapes; The hand on his neck went to his jaw, then fell down.
βUh, so, yβknow,β she muttered, βSorry for the scratches.β
βThereβs no need to be sorry.β
βYeah, well- Still.β She was hesitant to even touch him. The film of Vaseline on her hands was a decent excuse, but not airtight. β-I told you about this band, right? What the main guy did.β
He shook his head βnoβ.
Claudiaβs eyes widened, and Adrien had every right in the world to lie directly to her face in feigned ignorance when it led to her grinning at him with almost predatory delight, so gorgeously self-satisfied to torture him with the information. It was as if sheβd already decided in her own head that heβd be appalled by the story (he was) and that he thought it was indicative of every problem in the modern world from men as a social class to capitalism to the rapid-onset nihilism of the 21st century (he did, and it was, it was, it absolutely was) and that nothing short of all those four things would have convinced her to tell him. The words formed restlessly on her full lips, and she whispered out the first.Β
βMurder. He bashed Marie Trintignantβs head in 19 times against a radiator and waited seven hours to call an ambulance, isnβt that fucking insane?β Claudia smiled. βHer brain was fucking swollen from how hard he hit her, and, like, nobody has photos of the room, what it looked like after, butβ¦β
Adrien found himself wedged in the corner between the back and arm of the couch, Claudia stalking closer on knees and palms. Past her grin, that heavy, hot breath of hers would dissipate to touch his throat and it kept him at knifepoint. A hand planted itself on his knee without much thoughtβClaudia continued, iniquitously keen.Β
βAnd heβs out. Heβs so fucking famous heβs on parole after four years. They basically let him off for nothing. You saw the broadcasts, right? I- I saw the broadcasts of the trial and everything. Itβs fucking nuts. Itβs cra-zy.β
βI suppose.β His jaw hung open ever so slightly. βThough Iβd describe it with different, uh, vocabulary.β
βYeah, but, like- Think about it, right?β
βAboutβ¦?β
βWould you ever kill someone?β
Adrien raised his brows in surprise. In all truthβhis tongue darted out to lick his lips as he thought, as he accepted the notion sheβd floated and it slowly arrived to his brainβhe could distract her by mentioning every βalmostβ or otherwise reckless cataclysming heβd done as Chat Noir, but sheβd been so transparently specific with her tone that he knew the fact that he was Chat Noir hadnβt even crossed her mind. It was the abhorrent idea she so craved to discover, that he, as Adrien, could be capable of murder. That he could consider himself capable of it. His elbow dug into the arm of her couch, far enough off its edge to hang in the open air but not too far so as not to bash Claudiaβs dresser, and Adrien kept himself silent to politely feign extra, hard-earned thought.Β
It was reprehensible that Bertrand Cantant had done it, but that was because it was a case of domestic violence gone fatal. Sometimes it might- It would simply depend.
βI mean,β he began, which was a great start when answering the question of murder, βI would wonder if βmyselfβ counts.β
A snort escaped her nose: Wrong answer.Β
βNo,β Claudia scoffed, rolling her eyes bemusedly. βI mean really kill someone. Like, if I asked.β
So all at once, a chill crept up Adrienβs body as one thousand billion thrumming corpuscules stood still. He licked his lips again, swiping the edge of his tongue over the top first before the bottom; The lower lip folded in sheepishly beneath his tongue, trembling. Just a few feet out, his rings sat in a stack on the floor next to an empty e-cigarette and a grease-spotted napkin. Breaking eye contact with Claudia as an act of deference did little to resolve the tension, but his eyes lingered on the sight of his amok anyways. He couldnβt describe the feeling as anything less than giddy, if camouflaged, anticipation. Adrien raised his eyes againβShe hadnβt noticed. He looked other places, with breath still bated, scanning the way her breath would push out her chest ever so slightly, the hand on his knee, her foxlike stare, the next idea forming on her tongue and the delicate opening of her lips.Β
βSee the knife I have on my desk?β
Claudia had a few. Boxcutters if they counted, switchblades and folding knives. It was a butterfly knife on the deskβdeep purple, yet so deep in that unlit room that the handle became a noxious, inky blackβand it sat there closed, but Adrien had seen her twist and turn the knife in her wrist enough times that he knew, if prompted, how to get the blade showing.Β
βSay I told you I wanted you to pick up that knife, go out into the street, and stab the first person you saw until you knew they were dead.β Claudiaβs voice was slow, each phrase spoken like she was addressing a dog, an idiot dog. βAnd I really wanted you to do it,β she grinned, eyes burning holes through Adrienβs own. βWould you?β
Adrien hoped to propose a hypothetical of his own, just to himself. Say he didnβt give her the answer she so desperately wanted. Would she bully a response out of him? Maybe. Would sheβ¦ He looked to his rings, where heβd set them down on the floor. He looked back to the knife. Would she stand up, the gauzy residue of light sticking like honey to the bare flesh of her thighs, grab the knife itself and force it into his hands? Wouldβ¦ He looked back to her, would she notice he was hesitating on purpose, hold him down by the neck with his ricocheted pulse in between her fingers until she could prise a βYesβ out of his open mouth? Maybe. Maybe maybe maybe maybe, that would get him to say βyesβ, βYes God Iβll do anything you ask, of course my love of course
Claudiaβs brows furrowed. Not having moved an inch from where she was on the couch, she leaned in closer to him.
β.....So?β
βYes,β Adrien coughed. βI would.β
βNo the fuck you wouldnβt.β
She pulled away.
βI- No, seriously!β he insisted, shoulders squaring. βIβll do it right now. Nobody would know, Iβd get away with it. Do-β Adrien stole a glance at the butterfly knife. β-Do you want me to?β
βNot actually.β
βWell, why not?β
βI just wanted to see what youβd say!βΒ
Adrien could follow her silhouette best he could as she got up off the couch, but at a certain distance the edges of her form would blend with everything else. Somewhere, he knew heβd set down that backpack of his, and the duffel bag full of cash and cereal bars; And his glasses were on Claudiaβs dresser, guarding a slowly-charging iPhone and a Nokia, and the PC hidden under Claudiaβs desk blinked like the tiniest one-eyed lynx perched in darkness and the chair in front of it sighed from being touched. She began to filter through the clothes thrown on top of it, and he continued to watch, and her face twisted in time to the awful moaning of Bertrand Cantat. Adrien could admit to being somewhat of a voyeur. The habit used to be innocent when he had innocent thoughts. But in times where there was nothing productive to say and it was worth naught to say anything at all, he would stare quite intently and let all that thinking busy him, and he would have much worse and much more grotesque thoughts than any man who never shut up and thus was too busied with talking to think. Adrien swallowed a dry heap of saliva. His heartbeat had quieted since imagining all those hypotheticals.
β...I really would.β
This time around, Claudia pouted at his insistence like he didnβt know what he was saying. βYouβre a sweetheart, youβd never.β
βNot without reason.β Her asking was a reason. A damn good one, at that. βWhen we leave for Marseilles, we might be there forever so itβd be a much worse time to try it.β
The smell of Claudia Guadalupe Perreault was so potent in the fabric of that KMFDM shirt that it almost distracted Adrien from the fact that sheβd just lied outright.Β
βThat wasnβt your point at all,β he responded.
The pause spoke volumes. She mightβve flushed; It was too dark to say for certain.

I'm gonna be so honest you guys I wrote some really great stuff for the next few Claudrien August days but I'm. on the fence as to whether or not I can publish it in good faith.
The fact that Day 2 is all about Claudia goading Adrien into swearing he would stab a random stranger to death if he asked aside, brother you have to rein it the fuck in people are listening to your inner monologue right now
I'm gonna be so honest you guys I wrote some really great stuff for the next few Claudrien August days but I'm. on the fence as to whether or not I can publish it in good faith.
I think it's incredibly funny for people to consider TWEoS, and Sillynette especially, as salt meant to denigrate Marinette for Adrien's sake when:
Most salt content is uninterested in examining the social pressures that would lead Marinette to developing the flaws she has/could have
There's intentional subtext that Adrien and Sillynette are equally maladjusted, Adrien's obsessions are just more subtle and therefore MUCH more insidious
^ Adrien and everyone involved in the story are portrayed uncharitably, often with new flaws added ex nihilo for dramatic irony or to suit their adjusted roles/the themes of the story (Luka is blatantly misogynistic and Kagami is blatantly homophobic but nobody's ever read far enough to accuse TWEoS of being Luka or Kagami salt.)
In the event I truly wanted Adrien to be the protagonist of the show, would I not want to write a story that's beat-for-beat canon instead of massively rewriting his character to fit a completely different narrative?
...Not to show my hand too much here, but a problem I have with a lot of this platform's salt and the reason I never directly involve myself in those circles is that I find most of it to be derivative and quite poorly articulated! The discussion I'm willing to partake in regarding the show can be both laudatory and critical, and what I actually want to avoid is mindless, unhelpful repetition. Just about every school of thought in this fandom is guilty of this.
(I am very particular about who I interact with accordingly.)
The anon who gave me the excuse to say all this out loud knows who they are. I am not necessarily on "your side" just as I am not on the "other side", and while I'm here I want to rebuke the idea that I'm liable for everything my followers or mutuals say. I can and often will disagree with their interpretations or their tastes because no two minds are the same, and for the record, I think any follower of mine trying to invoke a slave/slaveowner relationship between Adrien and Marinette is making an incredibly poor choice!
All this to be said, sending mutuals of mine asks directed at me is childish. If you want to be confidently wrong, be confidently wrong to my face.

Thomas, Thomas, Thomas, you're this close to such a ridiculous darkwoke slam dunk, just trust me on this. All you need to do is confirm that Tomoe is a supremacist. It's all you have to do. It would exonerate you for using the rising sun flag as a 5D chess move, it would explain everything, you would be exploring topics no children's show has ever even grazed before. You just have to show that the sentimonsters are an allegory for eugenics and that Tomoe Tsurugi thinks the Japanese are the best race on earth. You're so close already. You got so close with The Dirtifiers. The interplay between the strained mother-daughter relationship and the sentiplot and whatever Lila has going on here and villains advocating for racial purity could be Emmy winning. You want your Emmy, right? Don't you? Don't you want that Emmy award? Just- Just make her a Japanese imperialist and a supremacist. It would be so fucking easy. I promise this would not backfire in your face and even get the show canceled. Be a maverick, Thomas.
