Burnout is a common problem among artists, and itβs even worse when an artist canβt afford to take a break - whether due to financial issues, health problems, or social pressure. Everyone needs rest...right? π€
Itβs really hard for me to write this, but honestly β each of you feels like a part of my therapy and a huge source of support. I love creating for you, but I feel like I need to take a short break β a week, maybe two.
For a long time now, Iβve been drawing almost exclusively COD content just for you. I adore Ghost, KΓΆnig, Price and the whole crewβ¦ but I think I need to take a breath π¨
Drawing doesnβt bring me as much joy as it did a few months ago. I realized I havenβt made anything purely for myself in over a year β itβs always commissions or something for you. My situation kept me in βfull speed modeβ constantly creating as much as I could to grow my audience...
I love creating for you, but also for myself. The art above is something I finally made just for me β something I could pour my emotions into. I want to feel that full passion for creating again, to play with forms and styles. Thatβs why Iβve been experimenting with Monster AU lately β and maybe Iβll try even more new things in the futureπΊ
Lately my mental and physical health has gotten worse. I even received a disability status πI donβt feel safe in many aspects of life, and the constant treatment costs are draining me more and more every day. When I first started my Patreon, I never even dreamed that so many of you would be here and enjoy my work βοΈ
