Parents often pay attention to how the Bible says to honor your father wnd mother, and it is true that you should honor them and respect them. But many seem to ignore that the Bible says not to aggravate your children, as well. We should treat our parents with the respect they deserve, but, if you have children, remember that you must respect them, too. Just because they're children, doesn't mean they don't deserve respect and patience.
Why is it that among some Christians, certain sins are hated more than others are?
Because first of all, yes we are called to righteously judge NOT hate. So you can call out righteously through the help of the holy spirit if need be but why put down people as though they are less of God's beloved creation?
Second, we ALL struggle with something wherein we are given forgiveness from God through Jesus Christ so it's not our place to hate on someone else just because we happen to not indulge in that sin, it doesn't make you morally superior.
Third and last of all, All sin in the eyes of God are equally bad and evil, in our bid to hate one sin more than the other we push more people struggling away instead of a community that helps and strengthens them.
sometimes I look at my friends and I am just overwhelmed by the sheer luck of it. the universe is so violently massive and terrifyingly empty, but somehow, against all odds, my brand of weird gravity pulled in your brand of weird gravity. we are just ghosts haunting the same corner of the internet, sharing a brain cell, and keeping each other tethered to the earth.

Hello.. Jeremiah 33:3, Mathew 7:7, James 1:7 and I'm sure there are more. You have questions regarding Christianity, ask a fellow trusted Christian or better yet for more accuracy, ask God.

Okay... I can be really petty especially when in a respectful debate with an atheist but I have a question. Why are they so bent on disproving Christianity? Like okay, you don't have to believe but isn't you forcing me to not believe the same as some Christians forcing their beliefs? That sounds very hypocritical not to mention how they almost always resort to insults.
A very massive misconception that causes a problem and leads people away is that 'God created Hell for humans'
No he didn't... If I were to go in-depth on the origin on hell, why and so on; it would be a long post

Hell is the intentional absence of God's essence from a place originally created for the devil and his cohorts and so in spite, the devil tries to trick people into going with him because he is inevitably ending up there because he lost before the fight even began (that's if you can even call it a fight)
But yeahh, God doesn't want any human being to go to hell, that's not what we were made for. It's a choice on our part.

I've finished all my exams and I'm about to graduate. The realization of it fills me with so many emotions. I can't believe I am still here, I can't believe I've gone this far. Two years ago I didn't want to move any further and when I was convinced I was done trying, God was with me. Even when I pushed him away in spite and in anger of how hard everything was, he still was there. Truly I'll never be able to comprehend how much God loves me and wishes for me to be at peace
Does anyone feel physical pain whenever they see Christ being misrepresented?
Just yesterday I had severe anxiety while thinking about school and I asked God to make me have a good day. It was such a good day and I felt so at peace. God is so sweet >0<
My conclusion is that there is no place for any form of AI in literature. There may be nuances in other fields and other artforms, but not here.

What's the most attractive thing in a man?
A man that prays.
When he isn't shy about his faith.
When he's zealous for my Jesus.

I thought of this randomly while listening to Mitch Wong - Marvelous. He was worshipping, the beat was beating, the lyrics were top tier and I was like, yes that—like that >\\< blehhh.
I love listening to music though earphones, or headphones makes it so much more interactive.
One thing I came to realize one fine day after a long battle with my addictions was this-
"He has not moved, I have"
I had a strong relationship with God, was full of faith until I became addicted to something.
I used to think God moves away when we sin...but actually it is us who become ashamed and move away from Him. Its the natural response humanity has had ever since Adam. Adam also hid himself while God sought him. God wanted that guilt removed and wanted to make a way for us....you see how the veil tore after Jesus said "It is finished". God wanted us near all along. He wanted us to come near and to be with us. This is the Gospel. This is the Good News that everyone must be told. Jesus made a way for us by taking our penalty on Him.
