You know, I’ve only now noticed the logo is appropriate both for celebrating ‘yay pizza’ and also signifying ‘oh no it’s a stabbing’

Last photo of the dignified gentleman who I rescued from not one but two fire situations. This is Scooter (previously named Scooby), my mother-in-law’s cat. It was a little less than a month ago when the second fire occurred. Not sure if the amount of time he was in there before I found him affected him or if it was simply old age. He was a huge boi (25 pounds or more in his prime), made cute meows that actually sounded like the word meow being enunciated, and lived with us a couple times when the fires occurred. Nicknamed ‘the selkie cat’ or ‘seal’, he was 100% liquid cat. This fellow kept me company while I wrote the Werewelf choose your own adventure years ago, and hung out with me late at night during his most recent stay here, playing hide and seek in my closet. Godspeed, Scoots.

Shout out to my poor mother who would get to find out I made random Saturday computer plans and getting me to the school on the weekend, where the 6th through 8th graders were writing papers and making graphs and I was barely able to reach the keyboard and see the screen but sat there coding in BASIC and playing this Snoopy word game on the weekend. Shout out to Sister Mary and Father David for being like, this kid has almost zero peer group social skills but let’s focus on this computer thing instead.
