So here are my current thoughts (I’ve only just gotten into poto pls don’t judge)

-is a phantom OR a human depending on the most popular telling at the time, if he had a set species it would be a “myth”

-because he’s a myth his appearance changes along with most popular telling at the time as well

-he has no memory of past tellings nor what he used to look like

-his clothes also can change with the myth

-people not associated with the myth yet know the phantom CAN remember is past tellings and appearances

-i haven’t decided if Christine and Raoul are real people and aren’t affected by the tellings, or if maybe they only interacted with the phantom the one time and its the phantoms memory that changes, or if Christine and Raoul are affected by the myths.
