For a moment he says nothing. It's clear on his face that he's thinking things over; his expression a mixture of uncertainty and annoyance at himself. What exactly was the best course of action here? Django never once expected marriage, let alone fatherhood to ever enter his life. He was simply content to put all his focus on the Saints and live out the rest of his days causing havoc until he was left bleeding out in some dingy-ass back alley.

Yet now he can't possibly imagine himself being apart from his girls for more than a few days.

Fatherhood isn't something that Django has ever really thought about, or even desired. If anything, the thought of it just bothers him. Not because of the typical reasons one may think. He just finds the idea sad because to him, no kid should be tied down to the fact that he's their father, given his reputation.

Like that's practically a curse in his eyes. How the hell is any child supposed to have a decent enough life when their dad is a man who is basically an enemy to the entire world? And even if that wasn't a factor in his kid's life, who the hell thinks he actually has what it takes to be a dad? He's a violent, destructive force of nature. The guy's more comfortable arming himself with a rifle and putting holes in his enemies than teaching life lessons and being a caregiver.

At least in his mind.
