It was after midnight.

Hiei had been out with the guys and was only just getting home, via the window of course, since he never adapted to using the door like a normal person.

When he saw you sleeping on the couch, he grinned.

But why were you on the couch…? Were you waiting on him?

Kurama was hanging out with the guys and had gotten home a lot later than he’d wanted to

He hung up his coat and removed his shoes at the door, half-expecting you to have gone to bed already

But as he walked through the living room, he saw you laying on the couch a few feet away

He smiled at you; you must have been waiting up for him. He thought it was sweet of you

He tucked you into bed next to him and just watched you sleep for a while

Had to be a heavy sleeper to not be woken up by his mom coming in drunk at odd hours of the night

Surprisingly a lighter sleeper than Yusuke

Usually will wake up if Eikichi jumps up onto him while he’s asleep

The only time he sleeps heavily is when Shizuru is yelling at him to wake up for school

Tosses and turns but won’t have a cage match with anyone in his sleep

Occasionally snores, doesn’t always though

Will steal blankets but will give them back if he’s woken up by something

His pillowcase is usually damp when he wakes up because of it

Light sleeper

Literally almost anything will wake him up

Floor creaking in another room? He’s awake

Still manages to sleep soundly despite that

Usually sleeps in a semi-upright position so his back sometimes hurts when he wakes up

If he were to share a bed with someone, he wouldn’t steal blankets

He’d probably kick them off of him

Kurama:

Fox boy knows. He just knows. He’s good at reading people - scary good - and if you’re not feeling okay, he notices almost immediately. He tries to ascertain if something about the situation is making you uncomfortable or upset, and if he believes he’s found the cause, he tries to get you away from it. Otherwise, he just tries to be there for you.

He’ll stand a little closer to you, hold your hand if he can. He’d hug you but he’s not the most fond of overly-expressive PDA. He is, however, a firm believer that actions speak louder than words, so in whatever subtle way he can, he’ll try to show you that he knows something’s wrong and that he’s there for you.

It’s been what, a year? Close to it? Time really flies by, doesn’t it?

I hope you’ve all been well.

So... Since 2019 is still new (sort of, not really, it’s already March...), why don’t we start things fresh here at YYH Writing Requests?

Writing has been insanely difficult for me as of late, but I still want to try to revive this blog and give you all the content you’re looking for.

To start fresh, I’ve cleared out the ask box. As in, well, deleting everything. I’ve tried my best not to do something so drastic, but I feel I need a fresh start to get back into the swing of writing.

So, asks are gonna be open again! But for right now, I’m only going to accept more headcanon-type things, not full-fledged 1k+ written works. I’m gonna start out small to come back big.

So... Feel free to request some HC stuff, if you’d like! It’d mean a lot. I hope I can get this blog back in shape and pushing out some semi-regular content (anyone who knows how this hellsite’s queue works please hmu).
