Breathing Colors

Another birthday present^.^ This time some bookmarks and a carton box for all the Witcher fans out there.

Hi there back!Thank you, I'm really happy you like my painting. The letters are “3D“. They're out of foam rubber. I've sketched them on canvas and copied them with baking paper. Then glued foam rubber and paper together, cut out the letters and removed the paper. Finally stuck them with hot glue on the canvas and covered them with acrylic colors. You can just paint over them as you do on canvas. It's almost similar. You may need more layers, because the rubber absorbs the paint like a sponge.I hope this explanation helps you. Waking up and suddenly feeling like painting a colored bear ^.^

That’s one of my older art pieces, but I just felt like posting it.

I’m a huge fan of “The Walking Dead”, especially Daryl. Beth’s death and his reaction were the most emotional moments in the series for me. Yeah, I was crying:D So I’ve mixed Daryl (and Beth) with my favorite word “Breathe” in this painting. For me it means that no matter how much shit is going on and that you just don’t know how to deal with it, you have to stand still and just breathe. Nothing but breathe. And for one moment everything’s okay, because you’re still breathing.

I've finally finished this painting. It's a really late birthday present for a good friend - a huge supernatural fan. Painting Sam's face and the right hand wasn't easy for me (i don't know how many times I've redone the pencil drawing xD), but yeah that's my process and the final painting.
