And Hannibal is just still there. She's gonna have to fucking come up for air at some point. Like, it was kinda a cool transition but... Hannibal is still there. He didn't walk out . She just dropped that line and slid underwater. She's going to need to breathe. What the fuck did she expect?
She wasn't running away, the act of submerging herself in the water is just a way to prevent him from responding with argument tricks and taking the focus off what she wanted to say. Bedelia is self-destructive and has an intellectual obsession with Hannibal. She's not scared and doesn't care what might happen.
