best detail of this episode (which is filled with amazing nuggets) is this part right here where it shows mogami who is colored in black against a stark white background and the image literally shatters (you can see for a split second between both scenes two line running across) to show mob who’s colored white with the endless space behind him signifying how mob’s compassion and growth is as infinite and vast as the universe itself while mogami is set against plain white signifying how empty his world is.

This has the implication Mob doesn’t care about his future anymore, he doesn’t care about consequences, all he cares about is revenge and he’ll destroy everything in his way to get it, which would’ve been terrifying for Minori. This line much better expresses, “Mob has broken”
