gah , everybody else’s headcanons are so much cooler it’s taken me awhile to think of something !

but i suppose steven has this whole organised mess going on with his shelves of books . like how librarians or bookstore owners would know where certain genres of books are at which shelf , even if they don’t have a written set of order going on .

he’d make a beeline to particular shelves for egyptology or idk horticulture without missing a beat . books on ancient egypt history might be stashed in one bookshelf but lord knows why his dictionary on hieroglyphs and deities are somewhere else but he knows he just knows .

also , maybe he’ll have his small collection of mills & boon novels hidden at the shelves at the back of his apartment ; not because he is ashamed of them but maybe a subconscious part of him imagines getting freaky with someone back there when he shows them around his place 🤭 cheeky fella .
