Imaam ibn al Qayyim:
With happiness comes sadness. Every house that once was filled with joy will be faced with examples and each one of you is a guest and his money is a loan; the guest will travel and the loan will be repaid.

Good character is from faith. The more the person has good character, the more faith he has. And the lesser he has of good character the more deficient his faith is.
— Shaykh 'Abdur-Razzāq al-Badr in Sharh Mukhtasar Sahīh Muslim 17.
" For your peace of mind, do not try to understand everything. "
Ibn Battal said: “Politeness is part of the attitude of the believers, and it is lowering the wing of humility to people, speaking gently, and not speaking harshly to them, which are among the best means of creating harmony.”

I can’t stop thinking about Ramadān. It feels like a warm hug, like coming home after a long, rainy day. but now, I find myself outside again.

Delayed, not denied. When disappointment knocks on your door again, say alhamdulillah, remember that even delays are being blessed in the hands of Allah. Dua is powerful. However, Allah works in His timing, not ours. A blessing delayed is not a blessing denied. Your plans may be delayed, but Allah’s plan for you will never be voided. Delay is not denial. Sometimes we tend to think we are waiting for Allah swt to bless us but sometimes Allah is preparing you for the blessing that he has for you. You need to emotionally and maturely be ready for it. “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition [or circumstances] of people until they change what is in themselves.” - Quran 13:11
