I will say, here’s a sneak peek/ preview for Ruth (my main ocs) magpie wings. Her wings are based on the reference, I love the green hue that the bird gave off. Because Ruth already has so much blue I thought it would be nice if she had some more green to her.

(As well as two Ruth wips. Her ref will be done soon, but it’s still useable if anyone wants to sketch her. If anyone does I will try and draw your oc in return)

Keep in mind I can only draw, cats, dogs, and dragons. Preferably dogs and dragons. I can also do snakes and axolotls too.

Here’s Lady Oleander. She’s an oc of mine that is close friends with Ruth and is family friends with Roffle and Caroline. (I may post what Caroline and Roffle looks like and their story later but be warned that, the story with them (the stories called Radio Silence) has references based on WW1 & WW2 medical advances. So that one I will put warnings for if I do chose to share it)

I May share some more info on my ocs story if y’all want idk. But here’s some things about em for now cause I felt like finally releasing some things and rambling about em.

I will say, ha, I originally made them when I was in my WH phase where I wanted a puppet oc, but now they’re just anthro characters gives me mor leniency with anatomy with what goes on. Also so they don’t have to stick to puppet lore (like stuffing, and some other things I can’t think of rn)

Here’s some things about them.

Samuels the oldest, he changes form 18 through 26 throughout the story. As of now in my head and what ya can see him as if ya choose too is age 23. Finley is the blueish gray one (he’s Samuels younger brother).

Finley is 17 going on 18 currently in the lore, but throughout the book plan he can also be seems as 15 and or younger.

Finley is paraplegic, he gets paralyzed in a chapter called “playing as someone I’m not”. He never really sees himself the same again. He got paralyzed at 15 so it’s still relatively newer thing for him to get used too.

Also Samuel is my color blind oc, he grew up able to see colors but now he can’t see colors well. When I draw comic views of what he sees I will leave it up to you to determine how he actually sees, but he does hint at what colors he can and can’t see. I will say his lore is based off color blindness but since he isn’t human he doesn’t have the exact type that we can have.

Samuels his own species, he’s a Anisoptera Amblyodipsas Polylepis (Hybrid)

- Translates to Dragonfly (Anisoptera) Kalahari purple-glossed snake (Amblyodipsas Polylepis)

I feel like Finley would be a subspecies for the Anisoptera.

Brutus looks so different from the two other brothers. Not being a grey hue of a color like the rest but rather having brown and creamy tans in his pelt, having a significant difference in his Antennas. Brutus is actually their cousin, but he s lived with them since he was a baby so he sees them like brothers.

To others Samuel usually lies about the fact Brutus is a cousin. He tries to play it off like they are and always have been brothers, because it’s all Brutus ever really knew, in fact Brutus is kinda oblivious to the fact they’re cousins. So Samuel won’t wanna break his lil heart by saying they they’re just close cousins. Yeah Brutus is kinda more oblivious.

I will ramble more about them later but that’s it for now. If ya have any questions I don’t mind I wanna try and share some more about them soon.

Also I don’t mind fan art of them if ya chose to draw them, and ya can draw your kid ocs with Brutus I don’t care, he’s genuinely a nice spoken oc and he likes friends.

Just to be clear, the mouth ref is for Samuel. Since he is based off real snakes, moths, and a dragonfly.

Julio is one of Samuels best friends, he is his 2nd best friend. Amira’s his first best friend. Samuel likes to mask his emotions a lot, he rarely cry’s…. In general. But he does cry when he’s alone. He’s only ever cried to his brothers on rare occasions, and to Amira the most. More deeper lore on Amira and Samuel soon but yeah. He’s only ever cried to Julio a small handful of times and those kinda slipped to begin with.

Alejandra is Julio’s mom btw. Since Samuels mom is iffy (won’t go into that rn), but I will say Alejandra is more of a motherly figure to the three boys.

For Renewal’s Paradise the whole story will be based off some personal events (not always told to a T but rather through implying something or straight up having it through symbolism)

Hell even the name has symbolism is ya didn’t know.

Here’s my small QNA shitz I wrote down once, that still are cannon today.

How did you come up with the name Renewals Paradise?: I really wanted a story to be named Renewals but I saw that the word Renewal was already taken (by lapp0st, her story for her dragons is Renewal) so I thought a bit more on how I can still use that word but in a different way. Then it hit me (while listening to the song Gánsters Paradise (the old song) literally) I said Welp I like the sound of the word Paradise and so I was like I can just combine the two and there ya have it. A starting point for the name.

Now for the explanation for the meaning, The Renewal part because the definition means “the replacing or repair of something that is worn out, run-down, or broken.” So that part means to slowly repair the broken relationships that happens between my ocs and their families over time. And the Paradise part stands for the peace that can come throughout the symbolism. So yes the paradise part of the name is the first use of symbolism. It also represents the fact that it’s “peaceful” or “fun” when in that reality things are hard if that makes sense.

How did you come up with the city’s name that the story takes place in?: The story mainly takes place in a called City of Marlin Marlowa. As for the city name and how I found it, I had looked up city name starters for a made up city that’s similar to the sound of Chicago, cause i like the city name Chicago. It had showed something similar to Marlin and showed something similar to Marlowa so I combined them and changed the word form the Marlowa part as Marlowa isn’t a real city name or word.

Theirs also a town’s cafe called Mal Bouffe (that I haven’t sketched yet but I will soon)

Right off near Marlin (Marlin Marlowa is Marlin for short) but closer to Chalstin (this town’s pronounced like Chal-Sten)
