Also is Qwelver not a grooming victim? Like hello?! Nobody ever wants too fucking mention that its starting too pmo. No I do not support what she has done, no I don't think her response was, in all honesty, that great but I'm willing too see how this plays out.
Keep spreading the word and supporting the victims BUT DO NOT HARASS QWELVER OR THREAT HER. If you already have, shame on you, your not actually helping by doing that. A teenager shouldn't have too tell you that, what the fuck?
Anyways, I will make one last post related too this later until more comes out because I feel the need too address something for some of my followers but AS SAID BEFORE, I will not be playing or supporting Blushcrunch intentionally at this moment. I will decide when I feel it is okay and safe too do so for myself.
I've been thinking this over and I've decided that the best course of action is just to wait and see.
If this is a legal matter like she says it is then it's possible that she can't say much more than this. However, this response doesn't stand on its own, she needs to say something more at some point. She claims to be working to get the truth out, let's hope that she is and that she isn't just sweeping this under the rug.
For now, continue the boycott. She has acknowledged the situation but I don't believe that she is absolved. I'm going to be primarily playing toons universe while holding out hope that the situation improves in some way.

I will not be doing that as I don't feel its necessary really because what I'm saying here is mostly my opinion and nothing factual, take my words with a grain of salt!
I am deeply disappointed with this response and to be honest, had no idea what I was even expecting but I was hoping for something more lengthy, despite that, we weren't necessarily in need of an apology, THE VICTIMS WERE. As far as we are aware of, they haven't gotten one.
This response took weeks too come out and it barely scrapes the situation as a whole. That's not even the big issue here, she could've been vague, and STILL mention victims like Joji or maybe even screenshots of conversations. Now I do think some of this was genuine "I fucked up" and yeah you did fuck up, you trusted someone that wasn't trustworthy and ended up hurting many with that fuck up. The least you can do is apologize too them privately.
Oh and we still got the Ceast and Desist on Joji, it feels odd that she chose too place a response right after that was announced. I can only assume she wanted him too stop bringing up the topic. Which I get but at the same time, APOLOGIZING IS THE ANSWER. Now, I understand that she couldn't exactly respond immediately because again, legal reasons and she did tell us that. BUT, she also said she didn't want too respond without processing it fully, now I will say thats smart, but also not. Especially when your response is only 3 pages long. I get that revisiting your trauma is difficult, because I'VE HAD TOO DO THAT, it is painful too look back on but when your trauma involved others being hurt by your mistakes, apologizing and taking accountability at the very least is the right thing too do.
Allegedly, we found out that Rox knew her since she was 16, which doesn't shock me when manipulation was mentioned and even confirmed by others who went through the same. Of course abuse and manipulation are very very difficult topics, saying this again from my own experience, its hard looking back on these things and you may try too avoid it but ultimately you have too eventually say something. I may have not done anything close too what she did about it but I can't help but feel sympathetic because of my own similar experiences.
However, as much as I feel sympathy, I don't think anything shes done was right, but as said in my previous posts, she is a person, a very flawed person. No one here is perfect and lets be honest, if you were put in this situation, you'd find it difficult too handle as well and probably make some dumb choices. She isn't comparable too Rox too those who continue too say that. Rox is a pedophile and groomer, thats different.
With all that said, I'm happy that she at least RESPONDED but I am not happy with what came out. I still think she can redeem herself, I still have mixed feelings but she does say she will bring up more information later, so lets hope thats better.
I don't think I'll be going back too Dandy's World yet, I will continue making fan content and engaging with the fandom, but for now, anything official I am hesitant of.
Admittedly, before things escalated and such with the controversy, my mom purchased me the keychains and I cannot exactly return those now so I feel sort've guilty of that aspect of things but theres really not much I can do. And that goes for anyone who has purchased or been gifted merchandise and feels guilty, you're not in the wrong here. We didn't think this would happen. Enjoy them, cherish them. You/whoeever bought them for you, bought it with you in mind, not Qwelver or Blushcrunch.
