Hmm thank you, I will take on board the personal chef recommendation for sure

I think the TV/sofa on an angle is smart, but everything against a wall feels right and safe. This is pretty similar to what's there now, except the TV is in the gap between the fireplace and wall and the sofa is against the radiator.

Looking at the pictures again maybe the second room could work better, although I'm not sure there's any plug sockets in there 😬

#current owners have sofa next to the front door #and TV to the left of fireplace #but this seems like really awkward positioning #but. Maybe soon I will have a quiet garden where I can grow veggies and somewhere I can spend time that isn't my bedroom and a spare bed so friends can visit and a more usable kitchen space and a place for everything instead of it all being boxed up and hidden
