The red-crowned toadlet [Pseudophryne australis] is a small species of ground frog, reaching a maximum length of just 30 mm. Its most obvious feature is the “T” shaped marking on it’s head, but it’s also noted for it’s white armpit markings and marbled black and white belly. These frogs can be found in Australia, specifically in the Sydney Basin of New South Wales. Images by Martin Whiting.
