i made this because i headcanon kris deltarune as a cane user with disabling chronic pain and want the world to know.

to submit, just put the character, what media they’re from, and (optional) the disability you headcanon them with. if you don’t have a specific disability in mind, that’s just as fine, it’s optional and specifics aren’t needed :3

your submission may include a fundraiser (most likely related to the disability represented in your requested character). if you have a specific charity/organization/fundraiser. you can dm/include it in your ask/ask separately! resources to learn more about disabilities are also appreciated :3

please be nice, don’t spam request (over 3 reqs per person), and remember that people with disabilities are people, and deserve your respect and kindness just as much as any able-bodied person!

I know he’s a very rigid solider and he needs his schedule and everything needs to be in order and be tidy and clean or else everything will explode and it’ll all be his fault. Did you know that Ink is a character of color, despite what the mass amounts of fanart prior to 2023 would have you think? Autistic people of color are wildly under-diagnosed compared to their white peers, and the Autistic People of Color Fund aims to help that. They’ve directly given 300k in microgrants to individual autistic people of color and are intent on pushing the autistic standard away from white men and providing a safe space for autistic women, non-binary/trans individuals, and people of color.

Oftentimes, autistic advocacy organizations are run by allistic (non-autistic) people rather than those with autism themselves, and can do much more harm than good. Check out International Badass Activists, an archive site run by autistic people with the purpose of fighting against misinformation about autism and educate people about the disorder’s actual history.

Error from Momma CQ has Autism and Social Anxiety Disorder!

A big theme in Momma CQ is Error’s struggle with Geno’s declining health. Under the interpretation that he’s autistic, it makes sense—autistic children often struggle with the inconsistencies chronic illness can bring, as well as meltdowns/shutdowns due to the mounting stress and the difficulty to process it. This is likely the case for Joshua’s son. Joshua is a father of two, a teenager and autistic child, and is suffering from kidney cancer. Help support him in his journey to recover, so he can continue providing for his family.

Most people experience a migraine once in their life, and are aware of how painful it can be. For people with chronic migraines, it’s a frequent pain they have to endure. Alex struggles with multiple chronic disorders and illnesses, which includes chronic migraines lasting anywhere from 4 to 72 hours and occurs over 15 days a month. Alex is in the process of getting a service dog to aid in these situations, as well as to help with other disorders such as POTS. Help Alex bring Bleu home!

Did you know that people with Bipolar Disorder, on top of the stigma they already face, have an extremely heightened suicide rate? “Extant research found that up to 20% of (mostly untreated) BD subjects end their life by suicide, and 20–60% of them attempt suicide at least one in their lifetime.” [1]

Depression is often treated as something to poke fun at or mock, but many people lose their lives due to depression, regardless of particular diagnoses, every year.
