It's Okay
Admit it, we always lie and tell ourselves that āWeāre Okayā even though itās not. In fact, weāre already falling into pieces, breaking inside and etc. Some people will tell us that it is a sign of maturity. Is it really maturity? Or maybe a sign of selfishness? If youāre not okay, what did you? Are you talking to your friends smiling like youāre fine? Is it really mandatory to hide our pain? If you can ask me, my answer is no. Sometimes, we need someone to listen to us and tell us that everything will be fine. Hiding our pain in ourselves will cause us depression and anxiety which can lead to emotional breakdown and suicide. So, if you don't have someone to talk to, my tumblr account is open for you. Just DM me and Iāll listen to you. Love lots. Relax, you are enough, you had enough, you are worth it. :)

hey there guys! follow my blog: perhapsateenagegirl.wordpress.com
In 18 years of existence in this ānot-so-goodā society, thereās already many changes and will continually change as the time goes by. We will all acquire changes as we grow up and itās natural, itās the effect of the environment weāre living and itās the voice that society wants us to adopt from all the trends especially the effects of the social media nowadays. Social media are already dominating the system in our lives. Admit it, you donāt have a day without opening Facebook, right? Thatās change! We are gradually changing because society wants us to adopt to what is trending. Good and bad things will happen and it will cause changes. Even growing up is a āchangeā. Physically, Iām growing from the little āJoannaā to the āJoannaā you are talking right now. I am the product of change in my past and will remain as a product for the future. What are the things that change me while growing up? Will it help me in the near future? Will it help me to become a good citizen in the society? Thereās already many changes as I grow up. As a student before, Iām not cooperating in any events, Iām just āgo with the flowā as long as I pass the subject but, now, Iām hugging change. I realized that I should study hard and be a responsible student. I know All these things Iām doing is for my own good and I know even if itās hard, I will do it and I wonāt give up because I have goals to achieve and attain. I want to be successful so that someday I can say to myself that all the hard works I go through, itās all worth it. Life without problem is boring. No pain and no drama. I also have problems in life, we all do. There was this time when I feel that all the problems were all coming from me, that I want to give up and rest for a while, but then I thought that the problems were infinite, thereās no end as long as you wonāt resolve it. Problems wonāt harm us as long as we know how to handle it and how to resolve it. Problems have its own solutions. God gave us problems because He knows that we can do it. Problems will help us to face the everyday challenge that life throws us. Instead of avoiding my problems, I learned how to face it because it will help me to become a stronger and better person in the future. As Iām growing, my mind became mature enough to handle things on my own. I already quit the things I did in the past not only because itās wrong, but also I learned a lesson from it. It leads me to a lesson that āwhat you do to others, will go back to you.ā The things we do in our life reflects in our character. As a student, a daughter and a friend, I already learned many things through my journey and I know many more will come. Life is āa give and takeā process. We commit mistakes, we forgive, repent and reconcile. Life is a series of forgiveness. Donāt hold grudges to the people you hate, psychologically speaking, it will just harm you mentally. Learn how to forgive and just forget. Life will go on with or without them. We may have lost our path while we take our journey, donāt give up because you can always straighten your path, just do the right thing. PAK GANERN!

I'm waiting for you. Im waiting for you to notice me. I'm waiting for you to look at me. I'm waiting for you to talk to me. I'm waiting for you to sit beside me. I'm waiting for you to smile at me. And I'm waiting for you to love me back š¶ But seems so impossible. I'm waiting for nothing because in the end, I'm just a stranger to you. šš
Reading Log (Book Four): The Manifesto on How to be Interesting by Holly Bourne
Part I.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā I wonder why Bree canāt open up to her parents and tell whatās going on in her life and she canāt even let other people enter her life, she shut people down and I find it hard to figure out. I couldnāt also figure out why does she canāt accept rejection?Ā Bree is a wanna be author and her second novel has just been rejected by another publisher when she decides to become popular, and her online blog is born. On her blog she writes her manifesto on how to be interesting, which includes six rules sure to make the popular crowd notice her and it quickly becomes a place where Bree can document her journey to popularity free of judgement.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā I really felt brave for her when she totally changed everything. Her appearance and social status at school changes her relationships also evolve. She ditches her pretentious, geeky friend Holdo for Jassmine, a pretty, popular girl with a self obsessed entourage. Bree infiltrates the popular group, and gradually, in true āMean Girlsā style, begins to lose the person she was before.I guess Bree is really desperate to become popular and I pity her for being that way and she also harms herself.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā In some point, I can see myself to Bree, Iām also a girl who wants to be an author someday and a girl who is not popular in my school. In my elementary days, I also experience bullying and Iām having a low-esteem on myself and insecurities and jealousy were the builders of my self. I am insecure and jealous to my niece because she is always seeks attention to my parents and Iām being left out. But high school and with the help of my friends, I conquer my jealousy and insecurities, opposite to Breeās situation, the school build up my confidence in life.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā I think Hugo, which is the famous but the worst guy in their school would fall in love to Bree because Bree is a different person and then Hugo will be a good guy in the end and Bree would realized that choosing to live a happy life is better than being just popular.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā I totally admire Holly Bourne for making this book, she made it realistic and I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone who has ever felt like an outcast, or that they do not belong. This book proves that there is definitely more to life than being popular.Ā
Part II:
āNobody tells you that large houses have this horrible habit of making you feel utterly alone.ā - Bree
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Bree is lucky girl but or maybe blessed because theyāre rich, she get what she wants but still sheās lonely and she even have a gap to her mom and dad and I pity her because when she have problems she canāt open up to her parents and talk about things and help seek advice to make her feel better. And I realized that not all rich people are happy because even though they get what they want, some part of their life is missing.
āI think you need to make yourself and your life, more open. Do more ineteresting things, Bree. Then your writing will follow suit. Be someone you would want to read aboutā - Mr. Fellows
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Mr. Fellows, a tough guy Ā and a kind professor in the story but I find him stupid enough to fall in love to a 17 year old girl while she is a married man. Heās the only person Bree can be who she is and also only Mr. Fellows can understand Breeās feelings because Bree opened up herself to him due to the state that Breeās in love to her professor, Mr. Fellows.
āTeen humiliation haunts you for the rest of your life. But itās good for you - itās important in life to learn how to laugh at yourself. Everyone needs a slice or two of humble pie.ā Ā - Breeās Mom
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā I admire Breeās Mom for being a supportive Mom, itās just sad that Bree canāt see it, that she shut other people in her life even her parents. She gives advices to Bree that shows how much she loved her daughter even though Breeās kept on pushing them. I can see my Mom on Breeās mom Ā because Mom always give us advice that can lighten up my mind and realize some things in life. Breeās Mom proves that in most of the situation Motherās knows best.
āSo, my legal advice would not to bother.ā - Breeās Dad
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā I salute Breeās Dad because not all fictional Daddies can defend their daughter, Iāve read books especially in a situation in the story where she came up into a broken family and her dad left them and didānt care at all but despiteās of Breeās Dad busyness in life and found out that his a lawyer, she defended Bree and protect Breeās reputation and name. I salute you Sir! Breeā Dad reminds me of my Dad in a way that my Dad is protective and loves me so much.
