"aw, is my girl scared that i'll ruin her bangs?" you glare and push him away softly. "you would literally make me look like edna from the incredibles." silence. "touché." he clicks his tongue and goes back to his phone. "just show me after you're done, i wanna see." he says between fierce taps onto his screen and you mutter an "ok", trudging yourself towards your shared bathroom while grabbing a pair of scissors along the way.

soon, your reflection greets you well and the scissors in your hand is lifted up towards your bangs, ready to take action. you take a mental break for a quick second before inhaling deeply to calm your nerves. let's do this. you jumble up your hair and cut it off in one snip, hoping to reduce the amount of time to get the perfect length. oh boy... were you wrong. you look up and peer at your reflection to be frightened with something you wished you never saw— it looked bad. actually, bad was an understatement. it seemed like someone had ripped the ends of your bangs with their bare hands, leaving a jagged, lop-sided mess. you let out a whimper of despair. "babe, you ok in there?" seungyoun calls out from the living room after hearing your agonizing voice. you looked at yourself again and your face crinkled in disgust. seungyoun grunts as he gets up from the sofa and walks into the small vicinity. "let me see..." he crouches down to meet you eye to eye and plays around with the fringe. "it looks fine to me." he shrugs, patting your head before standing up. as he turns around to walk away, you grab his hand tightly to get his attention. "i said. help me." you glare. he smirks at your angered expression and reaches for the scissors that were gripped in your palms. "you didn't cut them too short, so i'll try my best~" seungyoun says endearingly. you smile at his compliance and gave a heartfelt peck on the cheek as payment. he hums in delight and wraps his arms around you tightly. "you know i would do anything for my queen to be happy?" he says warmly. you scoff but reciprocate the hug. "and you know i would do anything for my king to be happy?" seungyoun giggles in your ear and places a small kiss on your forehead. "who said i wasn't happy? i'm always happy when i'm with you."
