When I told you we had to end it, that we had to go on our own separate paths, I wanted you to say no. I wanted you to tell me you would never let me go. I wanted you to say that you couldn’t imagine living life without me, that you would never love anyone as much as you loved me, even if it sounds a little selfish. I wanted you to fight for me, to stop me from leaving. But all you said was, “I’ve been thinking the same thing for a while now.”

Feeling too much  can hurt sometimes,  but one day you grow  and realize that your heart  was never really  broken. It was just  wide open.

All the light you seek  out in the world  has its source  within yourself.

The world is too vast  and sometimes  its mysteries  might be too much for the mind to grasp. So you try to hold on to the past. Those same old stories. You try to stay safe on the ground with your familiar fears, when instead you could be flying.

i'd like to meet someone kind. someone who cares and will be there to listen. someone who notices when things are off, because they know you well enough. someone who acts from the goodness of their hearts and not just to gain something from it. someone who will go out of their way to do something nice for you, because you deserve it. someone who you can count and rely on because you would do the same for them in a heartbeat. someone kind

Having the confidence  to show your real face  is also about trusting the kindness  of the world that’ll see it. To open up and live  as you truly are  is an act of  faith.
